It's indeed another en plein for the US Racing driver, thus gaining a crucial advantage to finish the job and win the title.

Arden VRD’s James Hedley topped the times in another rain-affected free practice session at Zandvoort this afternoon, but it was Rodin Carlin’s Callum Voisin who ended the day quickest overall courtesy of his time in the drier second practice session.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli lit up the timesheets with the fastest time across both collective test sessions at Zandvoort. Tim Tramnitz (R-ace GP) emerged as the fastest during the 90-minute timed session, clocking the best time of 1:43.564 in the closing moments, surpassing the current championship leader, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema Racing), who had led for a significant portion of the session.

It’s been a month packed with action for the Sauber Academy drivers, who have each been busy with their respective campaigns, as well as training, doing simulator work, and preparing for the final stages of the 2023 season.

The GB3 Championship hits a 26-driver capacity as it heads to Zandvoort this weekend (13-15 October), with the title battle finely poised ahead of the triple header on the Netherlands coastline.
