Elite Motorsport has confirmed that Oliver Stewart will join McKenzy Cresswell and Ayato Iwasaki in the team’s three-driver GB3 line-up for the 2023 season.

Dutch racing talent Emely de Heus will return to MP Motorsport as she gears up for her first season in F1 Academy, the new all-women series that aims to prepare young female drivers for elite competition in the world’s leading motorsport categories.

2018 Junior Karting World Champion Victor Bernier has joined MP Motorsport for a second assault on the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). With MP, the 18-year-old Frenchman is looking to make a strong impression in the highly competitive championship. In MP’s three-car FRECA line-up, Bernier will team up with Dilano van ’t Hoff and a third driver who will be announced shortly.

As the global motorsports calendar moves into the beginning of the European season, MP Motorsport have announced the addition of Emirati racing stars Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi to their academy programme for the upcoming season, with the team joining the new F1 all-female driver series introduced for 2023.

Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce that countryman Niels Koolen will join the team for the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). Koolen completes the VAR FRECA driver line-up for 2023, joining Joshua Dufek and fellow Dutchman Kas Haverkort.

Monolite Racing will be fielding Enzo Scionti in the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The team, led by Rudi Mariotto, has been competing in the European series promoted by ACI Sport and Alpine since its inception. For the upcoming series, they will line up the American on one of the team's three race cars. 

Exciting Dutch talent Dilano van ’t Hoff will remain with MP Motorsport for a second assault on the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). The 2021 Spanish Formula 4 champion aims to bounce back from a tough rookie season cruelly interrupted by injury. The Dutchman is the first driver to be announced for MP’s three-car FRECA line-up.

Today, Italian motor racing outfit Iron Lynx has confirmed the entry of three cars in the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Endurance Cup season. Both the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames teams will drive the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 across five races in the season, including the 24 Hours of Spa.

The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden today announced that in 2023 they will be sharing a car and racing together in ADAC GT4 Germany for PROsport Racing Team in an Aston Martin GT4 car.

Japanese driver Ayato Iwasaki will remain with Elite Motorsport for a full GB3 campaign in 2023, after making his series debut with the Norfolk team at last year’s Donington Park finale. Iwasaki posted a sixth place finish in the last race of the season, his first car event in Europe, ending less than four seconds behind the race winner. 
 

Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce that Dutch racing talent Kas Haverkort is set to continue with VAR for the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). As last year, Kas will be competing alongside teammate Joshua Dufek, who was recently announced by the team.

Last weekend, March 4-5th, the fifth round of the GT Winter Series was held at the Navarra circuit in northern Spain. Jessica Bäckman was on the starting grid for the first time in 2023, in a new car; Aston Martin AMR Vantage GT4 and for a new team; PROsport Racing Team. Jessica made an impressive GT4 debut where she drove home two second places in the races.

American driver David Morales will switch to the JHR Developments team for his GB3 return in 2023. The 19-year-old from Florida scored a podium during his debut GB3 campaign in 2022, and has already tasted victory this year with a triumph at Highlands Motorsport Park in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship. 

Chris Dittmann Racing has confirmed that Zak Taylor will return to the team for a full season in the 2023 GB3 Championship. The 20-year-old impressed at the Tewkesbury-based outfit last season, having made a late switch to the team for the final two weekends of the year, and scoring three top-ten finishes in six races.

Gabriel Bortoleto and Oliver Goethe delivered a sensational 1-2 finish in a race that saw them as the main characters. Trident Motorsport climbed to the top of the team standings, while a puncture stopped Leonardo Fornaroli.

Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce that Joshua Dufek will stay with the team to compete in the 2023 Formula Regional Championship by Alpine. Dufek, who made his debut in the series last year, is now aiming to fight at the front end of the grid with the championship title as his main goal.

On the long road from karting to Formula 1, young Moroccan driver Suleiman Zanfari has chosen to go via the Formula 3 Regional Eurocup 3. After two seasons in F4 Spain with MP Motorsport, Suleiman needed to take the next step before joining the FIA F3.

Almost two months before the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season start, the number of drivers grows up. After having confirmed the young Irish Adam Fitzgerald, team RPM announced the second driver of its 2023 line up: Santiago Ramos.

Danish youngster Sebastian Øgaard is the first driver to hook up with MP Motorsport for an assault on the inaugural Eurocup-3 series.
