The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine ignited its engines this morning for the first qualifying session at Zandvoort, the venue for the penultimate act of the season.

The final qualifying session of the Italian F.4 Championship 2023 once again rewarded the incredible speed of the Polish driver Kacper Sztuka, who at the Vallelunga Circuit continued his series of pole positions collected. It's indeed another en plein for the US Racing driver, thus gaining a crucial advantage to finish the job and win the title.

Arden VRD’s James Hedley topped the times in another rain-affected free practice session at Zandvoort this afternoon, but it was Rodin Carlin’s Callum Voisin who ended the day quickest overall courtesy of his time in the drier second practice session.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli lit up the timesheets with the fastest time across both collective test sessions at Zandvoort. The Prema Racing driver showcased his exceptional skills, recording the fastest lap of 1m42.344s this afternoon on a wet track. He also led the field during the morning session, even in the challenging rainy conditions.

Rodin Carlin’s Callum Voisin posted the quickest time, but then brought out a late red flag in the second GB3 free practice session of the day at Zandvoort.

The penultimate event of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season kicked off today in Zandvoort with the first round of pre-collective testing conducted under rainy conditions. Tim Tramnitz (R-ace GP) emerged as the fastest during the 90-minute timed session, clocking the best time of 1:43.564 in the closing moments, surpassing the current championship leader, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema Racing), who had led for a significant portion of the session.

It’s been a month packed with action for the Sauber Academy drivers, who have each been busy with their respective campaigns, as well as training, doing simulator work, and preparing for the final stages of the 2023 season.

Kacper Sztuka, Arvid Lindblad, and Ugo Ugochukwu are ready for the final showdown. Also, the Women's Trophy is up for grabs, with Victoria Blokhina leading, closely followed by Tina Hausmann

Monolite Racing is set for an interesting new lineup addition for the Zandvoort round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

About a month after the previous round in Monza, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is back in action this weekend at the prestigious Zandvoort circuit. This event marks the ninth out of the ten double-header races scheduled on the calendar.

The GB3 Championship hits a 26-driver capacity as it heads to Zandvoort this weekend (13-15 October), with the title battle finely poised ahead of the triple header on the Netherlands coastline.

Sports car racer Lexie Belk will make her single-seater debut in the GB4 Championship at the Donington Park season finale on 21/22 October, after confirming plans to join the series as a private entrant.  The 16-year-old from Doncaster is a podium finisher in the GT5 Pro category of this year’s Ginetta GT Championship, having taken two third place finishes from 14 races in 2023, with both coming at Donington Park in May. 

Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One® Team Driver Ambassador, Jessica Hawkins, has completed her first Formula One® test for the British team, driving the AMR21 at the Hungaroring, Hungary last Thursday.

Three new entries and an old acquaintance are the protagonists of the second scouting camp organized by the Ferrari Driver Academy together with ACI (Automobile Club of Italy) that kicked off in Maranello. Four drivers born in 2007 and 2008 are involved, Italians Emanuele Olivieri and Mattia Colnaghi, Dutchman - son of ex-F1-driver and 24H of Le Mans-winner Jan Lammers - René Lammers and Latvian Tomass Stolcermanis, who was already among the protagonists of a camp at Fiorano in 2022.
