MP Motorsport's Formula 2 and 3 teams travelled to Monza this weekend as support series of the Formula 1 circus. For the Formula 3 team this was the season finale, which could not have gone better for the team from the Netherlands.  The qualifying session on Friday was a tricky one, due to numerous red flags it was decided that the session would not be finished with 10 minutes to go. As a result, Jonny Edgar qualified fourth, which was his best result this season. Mari Boya and Franco Colapinto finished in 15th and 16th positions, but disqualifications promoted them to P11 and P12.

Front-running Formula Ford team Ammonite Motorsport will join the GB3 Championship from the 2024 season onwards with a two car line-up. The Northamptonshire-based squad has acquired a pair of Tatuus-MSV 022 cars, and has already commenced a comprehensive testing programme at the majority of circuits visited by the championship.

Marcus Armstrong will start Saturday's 85-lap race from the inside of the fourth row, marking his highest starting spot in his INDYCAR career to date. Armstrong piloted the No. 11 IU Simon Cancer Center Honda in its on-track debut today, where he secured a team-best P7 qualifying result with a fastest lap time of 1:10.2106. The rookie missed out on advancing to what would have been the first Firestone Fast 6 appearance of his INDYCAR career by just 0.0008 seconds.

Last saturday we lost a great driver, but above all a charismatic young man that motivated and inspired so many people around him. We keep on racing, for Dilano, like he would have wanted. But before doing so, we choose to be with Dilano, his family and friends during the next days and during his funeral service.

The sad news that Dilano van 'T Hoff (18) did not survive his crash at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit came hard on the motorsport community. MP Motorsport, the team Dilano drove for in FRECA, came out with the following statement.

Brazilian pole-sitter Rafael Camara took home the first victory of the season for Prema Racing. Camara dominated Race 1, maintaining control from the pole position with a perfect get away when the lights went out. He managed the race and built a gap, encountering no issues even during the restart from the Safety Car period caused by a race incident between Josh Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport) at Les Combes. After the brief neutralization, the race resumed for the final lap assault, and Camara sealed the deal, securing his first win in the series co-managed by Alpine and ACI Sport.

The Tatuus cars of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine return to the track at Spa-Francorchamps for the second qualifying session, which determines the grid for Race 1, starting today at 14:50. The Group B took to the track first. The track, still not completely drained in some areas due to heavy overnight rain, is declared wet. However, the conditions are dry enough not to pose any problems for the slick Pirelli tires. Tim Tramnitz from R-ace GP, who was already the pole-sitter for Race 2, set the fastest time and claimed the provisional pole position with a time of 2’15.554.

Ugochukwu crosses the finish line first, but post-race decisions change the standings. Lindblad is declared the winner, followed by Badoer in second and Taponen in third.

The qualifying session at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza was extremely close, with tight margins that anticipate three highly contested races.

More than 30 drivers from around the world are ready to compete on the track this weekend. The Italian F.4 Championship arrives at Monza, after the Belgian round, with British driver Arvid Lindblad from Prema Racing leading the driver's standings. 

Martinius Stenshorne took victory in race 1 and doubled his tally of wins in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. After an intense battle for the remaining podium positions, Kas Haverkort and Santiago Ramos celebrated on the second and third steps.
