Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team Head of F1 Academy and Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins will make her GT World Challenge Europe (GTWC) debut this year, thanks to support from commercial partners Arm and Valvoline™ Global Operations.

The siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman from Sweden are today presenting that they in 2021 are taking the step up to the toughest TCR series in the World – WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup.

Andreas and Jessica Bäckman have been selected by Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing to be part of their Junior Driver initiative that supports young racing drivers for the second year in a row. It feels super exciting to be one of the few chosen racing drivers for the Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Junior Driver initiative once again, Andreas says.

On February 22nd, the Näringslivsgalan (a business gala) was held in Boden with the purpose of honouring the city's empowerment. Several awards were announced, including Citizen of the Year in Boden, where racing driver Jessica Bäckman has been selected as the winner. “2019 is a year I will never forget and to be able to celebrate my successes with this award feels great”, Jessica says.
