Australian youngster Dante Vinci has been confirmed as Hillspeed’s first driver signing for the 2026 GB3 Championship, following a highly promising winter testing programme with the squad across the UK and Europe. The 17-year-old makes the step up into GB3 after his first full season in cars this year in the Italian F4 Championship and Euro F4 Championships.

The 2025 FIA Karting World Championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories took place from 11th to 14th September at the historic Åsum Ring in Kristianstad, Sweden. The unpredictable weather on the south-east coast of Sweden did nothing to make things easier for the 217 drivers taking part (109 in OK-Junior, 108 in OK), adding an element of uncertainty to the competition.

KR-IAME teams dominated the FIA Karting World Championship in Kristianstad. In OK, Thibaut Ramaekers had a perfect Final to beat Joe Turney. In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin led from start to finish and was joined on the podium by two other drivers equipped with KR chassis. The technical and sporting decisions taken by the Kart Republic factory clearly contributed to this exceptional overall result, while ensuring that satellite teams had highly competitive equipment.

The intensity of the 30 Qualifying Heats held from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, in very pleasant weather conditions, clearly demonstrated this. An initial selection took place with 72 drivers qualifying for Sunday's Super Heats in each category. There will now be only 36 in each Final, out of an initial total of 109 in OK-Junior and 105 in OK. Britain's Noah Baglin in the 12-14 age group and Australia's James Anagnostiadis in OK lead the intermediate standings.

In the last round of the series, in Kristianstad (Sweden), their Tony Kart Racer 401 T chassis won the bronze medal in the OKJ category of the championship, thanks to the results achieved by Ilie Tristan Crisan during the season.

Last weekend, the Birelart Racing Team gathered at the Kristianstad circuit for the final round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. The whole team took advantage of this event to actively prepare for the upcoming FIA Karting World Championship.

In Sweden, the fifth and final round of the 2025 Champions of the Future Euro Series was a triumph for KR chassis and the teams defending the colours of the Kart Republic Global Motorsport Company group. In OK, the entire top eight in the Final was made up of KR-IAME karts. Daniel Kelleher crossed the finish line as the winner ahead of Kenzo Craigie, who won the series ahead of five other KR chassis! In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin dominated the Final, and Devin Walz secured a one-two finish for the Italian brand. Baglin also lifted the championship trophy on the top of the podium.

Parolin Motorsport had a highly satisfying weekend at Franciacorta in the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series where again over 400 drivers were competing. This weekend the weather was fine and podiums in three of the six classes were achieved, including two wins.

At Franciacorta, on the Italian circuit that will host the FIA Karting World Championship in October, the fourth and penultimate round of the WSK Super Master Series featured an incredible field of 90 drivers in a single category, bringing together the best KZ and KZ2 specialists, as well as all the major international teams.
