Since its creation in 2010, the FIA Karting Academy Trophy has established itself as a unique detection and training programme for young drivers from all over the world. The final day of the FIA Karting meeting at the Slovak Karting Center was bathed in sunshine without excessive heat and the races were even more intense in these excellent conditions. In a rare circumstance there were three winners from one country - Thibaut Ramaekers in OK, Dries Van Langendonck in Junior and Gilles Herman in Academy - all from Belgium.
