On the eve of the first seasonal appointment scheduled for next weekend with Round 1 of the WSK Master at Muro Leccese, the CRG Racing Team has officially announced its drivers for the direct-drive OK and OKJ categories.

The 2026 International Karting season has already begun. Next week, with the first tests at the Muro Leccese track, engines will officially fire up for a new and exciting season of racing. The CRG colours will once again be represented across every category by the CRG Racing Team, the racing squad which — in the company’s 40th anniversary year — aims to further enrich its prestigious palmarès, which currently boasts 27 World titles and 25 FIA World Cups.

This weekend, a selection of CRG official drivers will take part in the 3rd Round of the WSK Master Series scheduled on the Lonato track. This is an important technical shakedown for the team, which will make its first official appearance in the race led by the new Team Principal Jeremy Iglesias. The former French driver will be assisted by Natalia Balbo and Brandon Nilsson, who led the team last year and, after the intense winter testing programme, the Lonato event will be very useful for refining all the management balances in the context of the short and frenetic times of a race weekend.

The CRG Racing Team and Ethan Jeff-Hall are the 2024 World Champions of the OK category, the top direct drive class. The event, the most prestigious and important of the international season, was held in England at the PF International Circuit from September 12th to 15th. This circuit has always been a battlefield for English drivers and this year too was no exception, with an all-English podium in OK and an English winner in Junior. For the CRG colours, this prestigious success enriches our wall of fame in FIA events, bringing the world titles won to 25.
 

With the first three rounds of the WSK Super Master Series held in Lonato, Cremona, and Franciacorta officially closed, it is time for CRG to take stock of this season's start. The 2024 chassis gave the feedback we expected and the inclusion of new drivers was also positive.

With 33 confirmed drivers, the official CRG Team promises to be one of the biggest and most competitive for the 2024 international karting season. The CRG Racing Team, which as announced last December, will be coordinated from a technical and organizational point of view by Natalia Balbo and Brandon Nilsson, will be able to count on a mix of experienced drivers and ambitious young ones in all categories.

The informal chat with CRG owner Giancarlo Tinini is a classic end-of-year event, a meeting in which it is time to take stock of the season that has just ended, looking at the year that is about to begin by talking about objectives, both sporting and commercial. This is also a very interesting chance for dealing with general topics concerning karting, thanks to authoritative opinions and points of view, consolidated in over 40 years of experience in high-level karting.

Change at the top within the CRG racing department, who greets and thanks Team Manager Andrea Todisco, who will face new professional challenges, to welcome the new duo made up of Brandon Nilsson and Natalia Balbo to the helm of the structure.

Everything is ready on the Wackersdorf track in Germany for the most important weekend of the season for the Shifter categories: the FIA Karting World Championship – KZ, the KZ2 World Cup, as well as the Super Cup - KZ2 Masters, scheduled from 7th to 10th September. Three categories, 245 drivers for 36 different nationalities and all the most important manufacturers and teams will be protagonists of the event which can be worth a whole season for the value of the titles up for grabs.

The victories in both Finals of the two European Championship KZ Rounds (in Spain with Jeremy Iglesias and in Italy with Viktor Gustafsson), as well as the one in Wackersdorf in the preparation race for the FIA ​​World Championship again with Gustafsson, place the CRG colors among the most prominent in the first part of the season in the top class with gearbox. To these successes, we need to add the title of European Vice Champion obtained by Jeremy Iglesias and the many podiums conquered in the WSK races, which complete an exceptional outcome for the CRG-TM duo in these first 6 months of the 2023 season.

The second and final Round of the FIA ​​European Championship of the KZ and KZ2 categories took place on the Sarno circuit; CRG and Jeremy Iglesias got there with the opportunity to win the title in the top class, after the victory in Round 1 in Spain. Unfortunately, however, the French driver, despite a solid weekend, closed the Final only in P5 behind Danilo Albanese who, on the other hand, had scored more points in the qualifying stages and in the Final he obtained P2, thus conquering the Championship success.

The CRG Racing Team and Jeremy Iglesias will be in the spotlight next weekend in Sarno, where is scheduled the 2nd and last round of the FIA ​​European Championship - KZ & KZ2. In fact, the French driver won the Final of the 1st Round on the Zuera track in the KZ category in Spain and will get to the decisive appointment in Sarno, sitting just 2 points behind Senna Van Walstijn who, thanks to a better score in the Qualifying stages in Spain, leads the provisional standings with 72 points.

Last weekend the Sarno track hosted the last round of the WSK Open Series, an event where the top KZ category came under the spotlight: all drivers and teams protagonists of the international races, took part in the race in this class to prepare for the next round of the FIA ​​European Championship, which will be hosted by the Italian track.

CRG colors experienced a top weekend during the 1^st Round of the FIA ​​European Championship – KZ & KZ2 that took place in Zuera, Spain, from 13^th to 16^th April. In the top KZ class, Jeremy Iglesias and his CRG Road Rebel dominated the Final from the 1^st to the last lap, also setting the fastest lap of the race, ahead of Viganò and Van Walstijn on the finish line.

This weekend, from 13^th to 16^th April, the Zuera circuit in Spain will host the 1^st Round of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2, one of the most important events of the season for the shifter categories.

The 3^rd  Round of the WSK Super Master Series will take place on the Sarno circuit from 1^st to 5^th  March, with the usual Mini, OK Junior, OK and KZ classes competing on the track. On this occasion, all eyes will be on the KZ category, as the 2^nd and final round of the European Championship will take place right here on the Sarno racetrack.

CRG gets back on top of the world of international karting and does it in the most beautiful and clear way ever, winning both the most important titles in the shifter categories: the FIA​​ Karting World Championship KZ and the FIA Karting World Cup KZ2. A perfect weekend for the CRG drivers at Le Mans in France, where the two most important titles were awarded in a single round.

The 2022 edition of the FIA ​​European Championship KZ & KZ2 is about to start in Belgium, where the first round of the season is scheduled at the Genk circuit for this weekend. According to the schedule there will be 2 races for this Championship with the 2^nd and final appointment that will take place in Italy at the new Cremona track in June. The KZ2 title, where 94 drivers will race against each other, as well as the KZ top class one, with 33 registered drivers, are up for grabs.

The 2022 WSK Master Series has ended on the Sarno track and it has once again underlined the CRG Racing Team drivers’ positive performances. Especially Jeremy Iglesias in the KZ category was able to capitalize best on CRG's potential, scoring P4 and fighting for the podium throughout the race.
