The second round of the WSK Final Cup has been spectacular at the Cremona Circuit

An exceptional challenge has been staged among the 336 drivers of the second round held of the series at the Cremona Circuit. Victory went to Godschalk (MINI U10), Ratajski MINI Gr.3, Ociepa (OK-N), Kostrzewa (OK-NJ), Arias (OKJ), Drummond (OK) and Bertuca (KZ2).      


The second round of the WSK Final Cup also delivered an excellent spectacle in the exceptional competition at the Cremona Circuit. Similar to the previous Franciacorta event, the round showcased the most compelling representation of national and international karting, featuring 336 drivers from 55 nations, engaging with major manufacturers and the most highly-regarded international teams.


This second stage in Cremona brought both confirmations and new names to the forefront, adding momentum and excitement to the championship standings ahead of the final rush. All category champions will be decided at the final round in Lonato on November 23rd.

Also in this second round of the WSK Final Cup, the winners of each category were awarded with the Vulcain watch, which the prestigious Swiss watchmaker put up for grabs in these end-of-season events. The winners of the second round are: Godschalk (MINI U10), Ratajski MINI Gr.3, Ociepa (OK-N), Kostrzewa (OK-NJ), Arias (OKJ), Drummond (OK), and Bertuca (KZ2).

The championship points are assigned based on the results of the Heats, the Prefinals, and the Finals. After the beginning of the weekend with qualifying practice and the qualifying heats, the final phase at the Cremona Circuit started with the Prefinals, followed by the Finals for all categories.

MINI U10 – Godschalk claims another win.

Wynn Godschalk (Kidix-KR/Iame) won the Final in Cremona after having also won the first round in Franciacorta. The American driver, who previously won Prefinal-A, confirmed himself as the absolute leader of the championship, demonstrating excellent competitiveness despite fierce competition among the youngsters in MINI Under 10. In the Final at the Cremona Circuit, Godschalk kept the lead all the way to the finish line, concluding ahead of the Spaniard Sasha Miras Y Munoz (BabyRace-Parolin/Iame), who got the better of the Finn Eeetu Koramo (Parolin Finland-Parolin/TM Kart) in the final laps. The fourth place went to the Ukrainian Platon Kovtunenko (Borsch Racing-KR/Iame), winner of Prefinal-B, while Max Zvarich (Team Driver-KR/TM Kart) was fifth.

MINI Gr.3 – Ratajski wins the Final, Perico recovers up to second.

The victory in the Final was earned by the Frenchman Stan Ratajski (BabyRace-Parolin/Iame), who was certainly among the category's main protagonists, but Niccolò Perico (Team Driver-KR/Iame) was under the spotlight after dominating the qualifying phase and Prefinal-A, and eventually staging a great recovery to second place after going off track in the early stages of the race following contact with an opponent. The third place went to the driver from Hong Kong, John Han, Ratajski's teammate. The American Victor Thomas Gorun (Tony Kart Racing Team-Tony Kart/Vortex), the winner in Franciacorta, ended fourth, maintaining the championship lead. The fifth place was taken by his teammate, the Maltese driver Zane Pace.

OK-N – Great performance by Ociepa.

The Pole Juliusz Ociepa (Novalux-Lenzokart/LKE/Vega) was the author of a beautiful Final, delivering an increasingly better performance at the end of an irresistible comeback. Also among the best overall was the Italian Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver-KR/Iame), who was forced to retire in the Prefinal due to an accident, but was an excellent protagonist in the Final, climbing to second place, a position that allows him to maintain the championship lead thanks to his victory in the previous race in Franciacorta. The other Italians also performed well, such as Lamberto Ferrari (FK Motorsport-IPK/Modena Engines) in third place on the podium, followed by Cristian Tonalini (Tona Racing Kart-Sodikart/TM Kart) and Giulio Mazzolini (Zanchi Motorsport-Tony Kart/TM Kart).

OK-N Junior – The victory goes from Stasionis to Kostrzewa.

There was a surprise after the OK-N Junior race due to a penalty handed to Nojus Stasionis (Modena Kart-Parolin/TM Kart), who had crossed the finish line on top at the end of a thrilling and spectacular Final characterized by a continuous exchange of positions. Stasionis lost the top spot due to a 3-second penalty. The victory was then inherited by the Pole Blazej Kostrzewa (Ward Racing-Tony Kart/TM Kart) following another penalty given to the American Lucas Palacio (KR Motorsport-KR/Iame), who ended just behind Stasionis. After Kostrzewa, the second position then passed into the hands of the Turk Ruzgar Evci (Modena Kart-Parolin/TM Kart), and third to the Brit Harry Williams (Forza Racing-Exprit/TM Kart). Palacio moved into the championship lead by one point over Stasionis, who was the winner of Prefinal-B.

OKJ – Arias wins the Final and takes the lead of the standings.

The Spaniard Bosco Arias (Ricky Flynn-LN Kart/TM Kart/Vega) took the lead in the Final and remained in command throughout the race until the finish line. Behind the Spanish driver, who had also won Prefinal-A, the Pole Leonardo Gorski (Ricky Flynn-LN Kart/TM Kart) and the Finn Oskari Walle (Parolin Motorsport-Parolin/TM Kart) closed in the order. Also in the leading positions were the Brit Will Green (Prema Racing-KR/Iame) in fourth place and the Italian Valerio Viapiana (Team Driver-KR/Iame). Arias moved into the championship lead, overtaking the Franciacorta winner, the Brit Noah Baglin (Prema Racing-KR/Iame), who finished 15th in the Final.

OK – Drummond wins the Final, Pesl is the championship leader.

The OK Final was also exciting, where the Scotsman Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport-KR/Iame/LeCont) managed to prevail after several lead changes. The Swede Oliver Kinnmark (Koski Motorsport-KR/Iame) also stood out, earning second place. Third position went to the Czech driver Jindrich Pesl (Tony Kart Racing Team-Tony Kart/Vortex), who was the winner of the previous round in Franciacorta and an excellent protagonist in the first part of the weekend, culminating in a win in Prefinal-A. The Italian Davide Bottaro (Lenovo Kalì Kart Team-Kalì Kart/TM Kart), winner of Prefinal-B, finished fourth. Pesl continues to lead the championship standings.

KZ2 – Bertuca is a strong leader.

Cristian Bertuca was once again on the top step of the podium in KZ2. The Italian driver, racing with Birelart Racing on Birelart-TM Kart-LeCont, dominated the scene throughout the weekend, confirming his championship lead with his second victory after the one achieved in the first round at Franciacorta. At the end of a very close race, the German David Trefilov (Formula K SRP-IPK/TM Kart) classified second after recovering ground, and the Romanian Daniel Vasile (CL Racing Team-Birelart/TM Kart) finished third behind the Italian driver. Emilien Denner, Trefilov's teammate, also had an excellent final, while the Czech Marek Skrivan (CPB Sport-Sodikart/TM Kart) had to settle for fifth place after a great weekend.
