MSV’s new GB4 Championship will feature a superb eight event, 24 race calendar across five premier UK circuits for its inaugural season in 2022. 
 

When ADAC Formula 4 returns to Hockenheim, it heralds the business end of the season. Championship leader Oliver Bearman (16, Great Britain, Van Amersfoort Racing) is looking to take the next step towards securing the title at the penultimate race weekend of the season. However, the chasing pack, led by Tim Tramnitz (16, Hamburg, US Racing), has its sights set on reeling in the British driver.

W Series is heading to Austin, Texas, USA, this weekend and, after a seven-week break, the drivers could not be more excited at the prospect of a season-ending double-header and racing on the same day as Formula 1's United States Grand Prix.
 

Zak O’Sullivan stormed to his second win of the weekend at Donington Park, as the new champion completed his GB3 Championship in association with the BRDC campaign with great panache. Victory in race two was his seventh of the year, while Fortec’s Mikkel Grundtvig claimed his second triumph of 2021 in the final race of the season this afternoon. Carlin was also crowned as the inaugural Teams’ Champion, while the end of year prizes was handed out after the end of the event. 

Carlin’s Zak O’Sullivan claimed the 2021 GB3 in association with the BRDC Championship title in fine style at Donington Park last Saturday. The 16-year-old broke the qualifying lap record this morning to take his fifth pole position of the year, and then claimed a lights to flag victory in the first race of the weekend to put the title beyond all doubt.

PREMA Powerteam put up a dominating performance in the penultimate round of the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Mugello. Estonian Paul Aron swept the event, storming from pole to victory twice, and fighting back to second place in the driver standings.

This upcoming race season, VAR will make its appearance on the FIA F3 grid. By doing so, Van Amersfoort Racing strengthens its successful and highly professional presence in the international Formula Racing environment, now bringing their drivers even closer to the gates of Formula 1.

Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam) wins Race 2 on the Mugello Circuit and closes the perfect weekend with two pole positions and two wins. Behind him, his teammate, Dino Beganovic, also first of the Rookies, making an amazing race and finally conquering his first podium after a few occasions ruined by accidents, often not his fault, as in Race 1 here in Mugello.

A fantastic Race 1 in Mugello has been disputed, with Paul Aron (Prema Powerteam) starting from pole position, being overtaken by Michael Belov (G4 _Racing) at the start, but not giving up and managing to gain back the lead and final win, taking advantage of the restart after the first of two safety cars.

Highly rated karting champion Flynn Jackes will make his car racing debut in the GB3 Championship next weekend (16/17 October), after joining top team Hillspeed for the final three races of the 2021 season at Donington Park – the squad’s home track.
