Trident Motorsport have announced the signing of Roman Bilinski that will compete as a rookie in the 2022 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. In 2021, the 17-year-old British racer with Polish roots concluded the British GB3 championship in seventh place notching up three wins to his name at Spa, Snetterton, and Oulton Park, having joined the series halfway through the season. 

Brazilian racer Eduardo Barrichello has signed with Arden Motorsport for his second season in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine joining Noel Leon (Red Bull Junior) and Joshua Dürksen. 

Charouz Racing System is glad to announce the renewal of the agreement with Enzo Fittipaldi for the upcoming FIA Formula 2 season. The Brazilian driver completes the Czech team's 2022 lineup together with Cem Bölükbasi, announced last month. For Fittipaldi this will be his first full season in the championship, having made his debut last year in Monza’s round.

Zak O’Sullivan, Williams Racing Academy Driver, was named winner of the BRDC Young Driver of the Year award on Sunday night. The British driver claimed the prestigious accolade after impressing in a series of evaluations, which included fitness and simulator elements and a two-day test at Silverstone.

Colombian youngster Nicolás Baptiste Velasco has signed to drive for FA Racing in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA), the 16-year-old from Bogotá stepping up for his debut season in the category.

Franco Colapinto will make his FIA F3 championship debut with Van Amersfoort Racing this year. Colapinto, a Buenos Aires native, steps up from racing in both LMP2 and the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in 2021.
