JD Motorsport lined up three cars again in round 6 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine held this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps. After the successful one-off appearance of Michael Belov at Le Castellet, where the Russian driver took a double podium, Ido Cohen drove the Italian squad's third car. The Israeli driver found an agreement with JD Motorsport to contest the second part of the season.

Roberto Faria claimed his first BRDC British F3 victory in the final race of the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps today (Sunday). The Brazilian driver started fourth on the grid, which was based on the reverse of the qualifying order, but overtook teammate Mikkel Grundtvig for the lead on the penultimate lap, and took the win by 1.6 seconds. Grundtvig held on to second, while a time penalty for Reece Ushijima, who had finished third for Hitech, meant that series newcomer Hunter Yeany was promoted to the position, completing a Fortec top-three lockout. 

Seven consecutive victories for the British driver of Van Amersfoort Racing who also won race 2 in front of Leonardo Fornaroli and Nikita Bedrin, first among the rookies.

Race 2 in Spa-Francorchamps expresses the best driving one could possibly see, with so many overtakes, but almost no incidents, and so much talent and maturity by many drivers, making this a real show!

G4 Racing claimed its maiden Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine win at Spa-Francorchamps today. After taking a stellar pole position, Russian Michael Belov, who set an impressive 2’15”760 in Qualifying 2 in dry conditions, managed to keep his lead in the race, putting up a strong pace in the pouring rain affecting the famed Belgian circuit.

Race 1 starts with slightly wet track conditions and some teams and drivers trying a gamble with slick tyres, but the choice does not help and, finally, the race will be held with pouring rain. In the first row Michael Belov (G4 Racing) is in pole position, and at his side is the Rookie, Red Bull Junior Team driver, Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP). In the second row, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) and Dino Beganovic (Prema Powerteam).

Carlin’s Christian Mansell and Arden’s Roman Bilinski were the two BRDC British F3 race winners on Saturday at Spa-Francorchamps.  Mansell triumphed in wet conditions in race one, while Bilinski took both his and Arden Motorsport’s first win in the championship in a dry second race. The same three drivers finished on the podium in both races, with Zak O’Sullivan finishing second twice, and opening up a commanding lead at the top of the championship standings as a result. 

The Real Federación Española de Automovilismo (RFEDA) and TATUUS have reached a multi-year agreement whereby, from 2022, the Spanish Formula 4 Championship will run the second generation of the successful Italian single-seater christened TATUUS F4 T-021.

The Danish driver scored his first double of the season by winning the short race, while the championship leader took his fourth win of the season in the second long race.

W Series is coming home! This weekend, the UK-based, international all-female single-seater motor racing championship is heading to the track that proudly claims to be The Home of British Motor Racing – Silverstone – to race in front of up to 140,000 fans.
 

The Internacional Track Do Algarve hosts this 16th and 17th July the third round of the Spanish Formula 4 with Dilano Van’t Hoff leading the championship, a month and a half after the double of Quique Bordas and the victory of the Dutch driver of MP Motorsport in the last race held at the Navarre track.

ART Grand Prix is pleased to announce the arrival of Patrik Pasma to the team they have entered in the European Formula Regional Championship by Alpine. The young Finn will replace Thomas Ten Brinke from the sixth round of the season, which will take place on the last weekend of July at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium (23-25/07). 

W Series, the international single-seater motor racing championship for female drivers, today announces that Abbi Pulling will make her competitive W Series debut at the third round of the 2021 season at Silverstone on 17 July.
