The “young wild ones” lived up to their name in the third and final ADAC Formula 4 race in Austria. In an eventful race with a host of overtaking manoeuvres, retirements and safety car phases, Luke Browning (US Racing) eventually benefitted from a penalty handed to Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam) to claim his first victory in ADAC Formula 4. Montoya was first across the finish line, but ultimately had to settle for seventh place after receiving a time penalty for an early start.

Two races, two wins – Oliver Bearman has enjoyed the perfect start to the ADAC Formula 4 season-opener so far. The Brit claimed commanding victories in both races on Saturday.

Porsche claimed its 13th win at the ADAC TOTAL 24h-Rennen Nürburgring (Nürburgring 24 Hours) with works drivers Kévin Estre, former karting star Michael Christensen and Matteo Cairoli onboard the #911 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R in another classic race at the Green Hell.

Italian racing squad Iron Lynx announced this week that former karting star Logan Sargeant would join the team to compete in this weekend’s Michelin Le Mans Cup, to be held at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. For Sargeant, who finished third in last year’s hotly-contested FIA Formula 3 Championship, the move this weekend represents a new step in his career – racing a GT car for the first time. 
 

The Dutch driver Dilano Van’t Hoff, the championship leader, took the second long race of the weekend, while the Spaniard topped the short race for his second win of the season.

In Race 2 Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) is in pole position, while on his side is his first opponent on the Circuit Paul Ricard, Hadrien David (R-ace GP). In the second row are the two fastest Rookies in the start of the season, Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix) and Isack Hadjar (R-ace GP).

The Spanish Formula Champions driver took his first win of the season after overtaking Dilano Van’t Hoff at the start of the race, who, despite a bad start, finished in second position.

The standings of Race 1 in Paul Ricard change due to the disqualification of Grégoire Saucy due to his car not being compliant with the technical regulations; a sad situation after the great driving by the Swiss driver of ART Grand Prix. The final standings see all driver behind Saucy move up one position, so the winner is Hadrien David (R-ace GP), followed by Mikhael Belov (JD Motorsport, and Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix)

Great performances by the drivers, but no changes in the first positions in Race 1 of the Formula Regional EU by Alpine at Paul Ricard where, from pole, Grègoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) makes a great start, and Hadrien David (R-ace GP) cannot really try anything to overtake, from the second position, the leader and final winner of the race.

In the second 50 minutes practice session of the Friday, Grégoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) confirms to be the fastest also with new tires, obtaining a very good lap time (1:57.937), being the only driver to go below 1:58.000. Behind him, his teammate, Gabriele Minì, stopping the watch at 1:58.275, so not as close as he might have wanted, but still in a potential first row.

G4 Racing will welcome Belén García back for the fourth round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, scheduled at Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend. The Spanish female racer had already entered the series' Collective Tests at Barcelona and Paul Ricard, before making her race debut at Imola and remaining in the driver seat for her home race at Barcelona.
 

The third round of the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine hasn’t been an easy one for JD Motorsport. The Italian outfit fielded its two rookie drivers at the iconic Monte Carlo street circuit aware of the challenge ahead. 
 

Race 1 for the third round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season was held on Saturday morning at Monte Carlo. Both JD Motorsport drivers were new to the iconic street circuit, and they only had one practice to learn it, the 50-minute Free session scheduled on Thursday. Then, they immediately had to face the qualifying session, which is crucial in Monaco since overtaking is virtually impossible.
