The young Finnish driver, who trained competitively in the Tony Kart Racing Team, becoming OK world champion in 2021 with their colours, now joins the prestigious Maranello driver academy

PREMA Racing is proud to announce that Italian and German Formula 4 Champion Andrea Kimi Antonelli will stay with the team and move to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in 2023.

The second race of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine held at Mugello gave the last emotions of the year with the victory of Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix), who thanks to his third success ended the season with the second place in the overall championship standings behind the champion Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing).

Following Logan Sargeant’s Free Practice session debut at the Formula 1™ Aramco United States Grand Prix 2022 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the Williams Academy and double FIA Formula 2 race winner will participate in two further Free Practice sessions at the Formula 1 Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico 2022 in Mexico City and the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 in Abu Dhabi. 

The race held at the Mugello Circuit will remain in the history of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, as Dino Beganovic is crowned champion of the 2022 season. It was enough for the Swedish driver to finish the race in fourth position to mathematically bring home the title, conquered by the Prema Racing standard bearer with one race still to go. A Prema Racing branded success, already triumphant last weekend in Barcelona, which today saw an unreachable Paul Aron on the highest step of the podium. The Estonian, who this morning also set the pole position record in the series, also overtook Gabriele Minì (ART Grand Prix) in the overall standings, moving into second place behind team-mate Beganovic.

Paul Aron once again was the fastest driver in qualifying in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The Estonian, who celebrated the team title with Prema Racing in Barcelona, put everyone behind setting the best time of 1:42.723 at Mugello. 

Colin Queen has been named as the winner of GB4’s National Formula Ford Shoot-Out, following the assessment day at Snetterton earlier this week.

Pierre-Louis Chovet set the pace in the last collective test of the season that took place at Mugello. 

ART Grand Prix’s Gabriele Minì returned to the top of the timesheets to set the pace in the first Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine collective test at Mugello.

Mugello fog welcomed the 36 drivers of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, who prepare to face the final round of the season this weekend.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli is the new ADAC Formula 4 champion. After his big success at the Nürburgring, the Italian in Prema Racing colours climbed out of the cockpit of his 180-hp Formula 4 car and raised his fists to the sky. He then leapt into the arms of his mechanics and engineers, as the celebrations knew no bounds at the Nürburgring. Victory in the penultimate race saw the 16-year-old crowned champion in the ADAC’s junior series.

Assured of the French F4 Champion title since the day before, Giusti was keen to finish his season with a success. Dominant in Race 3, he achieved his goal. Souta and Barter joined him on the race podium as well as on the Championship podium.

Gabriel Bortoleto was the undisputed star of the second Spanish round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, going for a fine victory after taking his first pole position this morning. 

Luke Browning has been crowned as the 2022 GB3 Champion at Donington Park.

Fifth win for Taylor Barnard: The Brit earned victory for himself and the PHM Racing team in the final race of this season’s ADAC Formula 4 at the Nürburgring on Sunday. The 18-year-old was followed home in second place by McLaren Junior Ugo Ugochukwu (USA/Prema Racing). Rafael Camara (17/BRA/Prema Racing) took third place in the 18th race of the season and won the Rookie title in the process. “I am overjoyed to be heading home with the trophy for the most successful rookie. That was not an easy race for me, as I had to fight my way forward from tenth on the grid. I never gave up and believed in myself,” said Camara.

Gabriel Bortoleto claimed his first pole position in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in Barcelona right on the weekend of his birthday. The R-ace GP‘s Brazilian driver set the fastest time of 1m40.532s in the Group B session, only 0.156s ahead of his teammate Hadrien David. The Frenchman finished yesterday’s race with a second place and will start from the second row of the grid in Race 2.

ADAC Formula 4 has its champion: Andrea Kimi Antonelli (16/Prema Racing) was crowned champion of the 2022 season with races to spare, following victory in race 17 at the Nürburgring. “Absolutely unbelievable! It feels awesome to be ADAC Formula 4 champion.

Paul Aron‘s victory was won by keeping the lead from start to finish. After signing the pole position this morning, he climbed on the top step of the podium for the fifth time this year at the wheel of  Prema Racing team’s car number 3.

The 2023 GB3 and GB4 Championship calendars have been confirmed by series organiser MotorSport Vision (MSV). GB3 will run to an eight-event schedule, with no fewer than four events on current F1 circuits, whilst GB4’s fixture list features seven events, and will appear on the bill at all UK rounds of the prestigious British GT Championship.

Prema Racing’s driver Paul Aron scored the fastest time in the first Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine qualifying at Barcelona, and claimed race one pole position in an extraordinarily close session, which was held with all the cars on the track due to the fog.
