The 7th IAME International Final flawlessly organized in 2018 finished in a blaze of glory with breath-taking, hotly-contested races in front of more than 5000 spectators. Although changeable weather was expected it stayed fine and the track was dry throughout!

The qualifying heats on the Le Mans international karting circuit ended in summer-like temperatures and brilliant sunlight, which highlighted the performances of the 466 drivers that started this prestigious event. Thanks to the excellent organisation put in place by IAME, the 3-days spectacle has been absolutely mind-blowing with non-stop overtaking, marvellous comebacks, and as always, unexpected twists of fate! The pressure is going to ramp up even further as everybody gears up for the Finals. Who are the warriors who will have the joy of stepping up onto the podium? Answer on Sunday evening 14th October.

On the wave of the success of the ’17 edition and according to the incredibly increased number of countries hosting IAME Series and main IAME events awarding drivers with tickets to participate in the IAME International Final, new criteria have been introduced to select the Warriors that will be able to join the Arena of Le Mans.

From Thursday to Saturday, no fewer than 69 qualifying heats are on the schedule of the IAME International Final 2018. To this number, the many free practice sessions, the warm-ups and the 18 races comprising the finals on Sunday must be added. This large-scale Karting event is unique in the world! It gathers drivers and teams from all over the globe, all driven by the same passion. The next stages of the competition at the Le Mans Karting International Circuit look like they will be packed with excitement.

The international IAME final that has attracted a huge, quality-packed field is one of the biggest karting events of the sporting year. And the 2018 meeting is no exception with 466 drivers and all the big names among the major international teams attending. No fewer than 47 countries are represented at this event, which is spread out over a week. The big ACO complex beside Le Mans (France) is the ideal place to host this vast organisation, which is already celebrating its seventh anniversary! The IAME Italian factory that’s well known in karting circles and creator of the X30 Challenge has every reason to be proud of this major worldwide event. While we do not yet know the names of the winners here’s the state of play after the official qualifying sessions.
