A new calendar has been set for the 2020 IAME Euro Series. The original round 1 which was set to be hosted in Belgium will now take place in October.

From the 23 to 26 May the 2019 Iame Euro Series will be heading for Italy – the nation famous for pasta, pizza, dolce vita and not to forget karting.  Consequently one of Europe’s most popular Iame karting series will hold its second round of the season at Castelletto di Branduzzo on the beautiful circuit of “7 Laghi”.  As its name implies (seven lakes) the 1.256 metre long track is situated right within a lake district and not too far away from Milan.

This weekend the 2019 Iame Euro series will kick off in Mariembourg, Belgium. Four classes will be in the programme this season: X30 Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior and X30 Shifter . The 7th IAME International Final flawlessly organized in 2018 finished in a blaze of glory with breath-taking, hotly-contested races in front of more than 5000 spectators. Although changeable weather was expected it stayed fine and the track was dry throughout!

The qualifying heats on the Le Mans international karting circuit ended in summer-like temperatures and brilliant sunlight, which highlighted the performances of the 466 drivers that started this prestigious event. Thanks to the excellent organisation put in place by IAME, the 3-days spectacle has been absolutely mind-blowing with non-stop overtaking, marvellous comebacks, and as always, unexpected twists of fate! The pressure is going to ramp up even further as everybody gears up for the Finals. Who are the warriors who will have the joy of stepping up onto the podium? Answer on Sunday evening 14th October. 

In the south-western Lombardy, northern Italy, not far south of Milan, the track of Castelletto 7 laghi was the location of the 2018 series finale. High temperatures and bright sunshine welcomed the 135 drivers who took the challenge in the four categories. With many surprise results, and a brief rain disrupting the finals action on Sunday, the 2018 IAME Euro Series came to a close on a high note!
