Rocco Coronel has secured his first championship title in motor racing! Finishing fourth in the first race of the final weekend of the British Ginetta Junior Championship at Donington Park was enough for the 14-year-old driver from Eemnes to secure the title. ‘My first title in motor racing, a very special feeling. Thanks to the team and to everyone who made this possible,’ said Coronel, who won eleven of the 22 races he competed in and achieved a total of 19 podium places, making him the clear champion. Coronel described his first season in motor racing, which he crowned with the title, as ‘better than expected’. Coronel, competing as a Red Bull Junior for the R Racing team, is the first non-British driver and also the first Dutchman to become champion in the British Ginetta Junior Championship, which has been in existence since 2005. Rocco Coronel also won the rookie title.

Thai racer Enzo Tarnvanichkul will join VRD Racing for five GB3 events across the 2025 season. The 16-year-old is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team, and will compete in all of the UK rounds of this year’s GB3 Championship, as well as the Monza season finale in October.

Leading Dutch single-seater team MP Motorsport has re-signed Tim Tramnitz for his sophomore year in the FIA Formula 3 Championship - the Red Bull Junior, who already became a race winner in his debut season, aiming for more success in 2025.

Red Bull Junior driver Oliver Goethe will race in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing. Goethe made a spectacular FIA F3 debut with the Spanish outfit in 2022 for two rounds, finishing in the points in his first race with the team and securing a second-row start at Spa-Francorchamps.

Saturday morning at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza kicked off with the Euro 4 Championship qualifying sessions. In two 15-minute sessions, 30 drivers from around the world competed to determine the starting grid for the weekend's three races. In the first qualifying session, rookie sensation Freddie Slater secured pole position.

DAMS’ Ayumu Iwasa took his third win of the 2023 FIA Formula 2 campaign with a dominant performance in the Sprint Race at Monaco. After qualifying ninth, the Red Bull Junior started on the front row for Saturday’s semi-reverse grid event. Showing great pace throughout, Iwasa took the lead on Lap 6 and was in control for the entire race, streaking clear of the field after a late Safety Car restart to win by over six seconds.

It is a duel that has dominated the whole season, and it is about to culminate on the final weekend at Oschersleben (6th - 8th November) - Jonny Edgar (16, England) versus Jak Crawford (15, USA), two Red Bull Junior members of the Van Amersfoort squad in pursuit of the ADAC Formula 4 title. Edgar goes into this last fixture of the campaign leading the championship table by a 23-point margin and as clear favourite, but Crawford remains undaunted. So everything is set for a riveting conclusion to the sixth season of the ADAC High-Speed Academy. Racing at Oschersleben will go ahead without any spectators in attendance to comply with the biosecurity measures agreed between the ADAC GT Masters and the relevant authorities. Hockenheim: France's Victor Bernier (16, R-ace GP) stormed to his first ADAC Formula 4 victory in a spectacular race at the Hockenheimring on Sunday. In an eventful closing stage brought to a premature end by race control, Bernier surged ahead of Jak Crawford (15, USA, Van Amersfoort Racing) and Elias Seppänen (16, Finland US Racing) to claim the top spot on the podium.
