Seven race weekends, some of Germany’s most renowned circuits and the DTM as its main platform: F4 Germany has unveiled its provisional calendar for the 2027 season. From May to October, young drivers can look forward to a varied programme featuring a total of seven events.

Young motorsport talent is back in Germany. From 2027, F4 Germany will once again provide the platform that young drivers in Germany deserve. The registration process is now underway – and according to the promoter, demand is already exceeding expectations.

Race nine of this season’s Prototype Cup Germany, which took place at the Nürburgring, was dominated by Ralf (49/Salzburg) and David Schumacher (22/Salzburg, both US Racing). Six-time Grand Prix winner Ralf Schumacher took the lead at the start, before consistently extending his lead on a track that was still wet in places.

The Prototype Cup Germany is at the Nürburgring this weekend (16th to 18th August). As well as the title race, the focus will also be on two prominent guests at the penultimate race weekend of the LMP3 series: former Formula 1 driver and present-day TV expert Ralf Schumacher (49/Salzburg) will line up in a Ligier together with his son David (22/Salzburg).

A quick road trip for father and son, Ralf and David Schumacher: the former Formula 1 driver, now a TV expert, is set to make his one-off motorsport comeback alongside his son David. Andrea Kimi Antonelli is the new ADAC Formula 4 champion. After his big success at the Nürburgring, the Italian in Prema Racing colours climbed out of the cockpit of his 180-hp Formula 4 car and raised his fists to the sky. He then leapt into the arms of his mechanics and engineers, as the celebrations knew no bounds at the Nürburgring. Victory in the penultimate race saw the 16-year-old crowned champion in the ADAC’s junior series.

Fifth win for Taylor Barnard: The Brit earned victory for himself and the PHM Racing team in the final race of this season’s ADAC Formula 4 at the Nürburgring on Sunday. The 18-year-old was followed home in second place by McLaren Junior Ugo Ugochukwu (USA/Prema Racing). Rafael Camara (17/BRA/Prema Racing) took third place in the 18th race of the season and won the Rookie title in the process. “I am overjoyed to be heading home with the trophy for the most successful rookie. That was not an easy race for me, as I had to fight my way forward from tenth on the grid. I never gave up and believed in myself,” said Camara.

Last weekend August 5–7th, Jessica Bäckman claimed two podiums in the fourth round of the ADAC TCR Germany at the legendary Nürburgring track in Germany. 

Big celebrations for Taylor Barnard (18/PHM Racing): The British driver claimed his first victory in ADAC Formula 4 in race ten of the season at the Nürburgring. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (15/Prema Racing) did cross the finish line in first place, but the Italian was handed a five-second penalty for a false start.

Some necessary changes and improvements to the 2021 calendar of the Formula Regional by Alpine have been made, while the organization of the new Championship is proceeding fast in the final steps towards what is definitely going to be an extraordinary season, thanks to the joint efforts of ACI Sport and Alpine.

ADAC Formula 4 goes into its seventh year in 2021. There will once again be a total of 21 races contested over seven events timed to coincide with the ADAC GT Masters weekends. On the technical side, the junior series has opted for continuity, with Formula 1 supplier Pirelli retained as exclusive tyre partner. ADAC Formula 4 will continue to offer talented youngsters from Germany and abroad a competitive platform for entering the world of formula racing in the coming year. The curtain-raiser to the seventh season of the series will get underway on the weekend of 14th - 16th May 2021 at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
 

Nürburgring: Championship leader Jonny Edgar (16, Van Amersfoort Racing) from Great Britain and Russia's Vladislav Lomko (15, US Racing) were the winners of Saturday's two ADAC Formula 4 races thanks to their mastery of the autumn-like conditions at the Nürburgring.

Jak Crawford (USA, 15, Van Amersfoort Racing) defied the notorious Eifel weather to chalk up his first ADAC Formula 4 victory and get himself back in the running for the title.

No time to relax for the stars of tomorrow, as they will be facing the next big challenge in the ADAC Formula 4 just four days after the round at the Hockenheimring. For the first time ever, trainees from the ADAC High-Speed Academy will be lining up within the context of the ADAC TOTAL 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and take part in the first practice sessions and qualifying early on Thursday. Races 10, 11 and 12 will then follow on Friday and Saturday, and fans at the track will be allowed to spectate. SPORT1 and SPORT1+ will broadcast the races on TV. Live streams will also be available at adac.de/motorsport, SPORT1.de, YouTube.com/ADAC and on the ADAC Formula 4 Facebook page.

Hockenheim: France's Victor Bernier (16, R-ace GP) stormed to his first ADAC Formula 4 victory in a spectacular race at the Hockenheimring on Sunday. In an eventful closing stage brought to a premature end by race control, Bernier surged ahead of Jak Crawford (15, USA, Van Amersfoort Racing) and Elias Seppänen (16, Finland US Racing) to claim the top spot on the podium.

PREMA Powerteam enjoyed a successful weekend at Spielberg, lining-up at the Austrian Grand Prix venue for the third round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. Gabriele Minì exits the event with a hefty lead in the overall driver championship thanks to a triple podium finish including one win. The Italian was both fast and smart, taking the best possible results while not risking valuable points. After scoring P2 and P3 in the first two races respectively, he signed off the weekend with a great win, leading from start to finish. 

Joshua Dürksen secured a maiden ADAC Formula 4 victory in an exciting contest. He won Race 3 at the Nürburgring on Sunday morning in an authoritative manner and staged an impressive comeback after a mediocre showing in Race 2.

Nürburgring: Saturday brought a debut victory for Gabriele Mini, plus further masterful performances from Jonny Edgar and Elias Seppänen as they continue to rack up the points.

While we will have to wait until October before the Nürburgring hosts Formula 1, the famous circuit in the Eifel will be imbued with a touch of the premier class this weekend when Sebastian Montoya (15, Colombia, Prema Powerteam), the son of ex-Formula 1 driver and two-time Indy 500 champion Juan Pablo Montoya.
