With the FIA ​​awards ceremony which took place in Rwanda in the last few days, the curtain has finally fallen on the 2025 sporting season for international karting. As usual, at CRG, it’s time to take stock with President Giancarlo Tinini. The first reflections are aimed precisely at the international season, in which once again CRG products were among the great protagonists.

The CRG chassis clearly made the difference at Muret during the FFSA Karting French Championship. Jules Avril dominated the National category from pole position to the Final, with the invaluable assistance of the Ludo Racing team. After Louis Iglesias in 2022 and Hugo Martiniello in 2023, CRG was crowned champion for the third year in succession. The event also saw Guillaume Pous of the OKS team win the French Masters Championship. These two titles confirm the work and investment from CRG France with the support of the Italian factory.

The growth of the technical sector continues within the official Kalì Kart Racing Team. The Tinini Group team, in fact, has announced the arrival of Mariano De Faveri with the title of full-time Chief Technician starting from April.

The informal chat with CRG owner Giancarlo Tinini is a classic end-of-year event, a meeting in which it is time to take stock of the season that has just ended, looking at the year that is about to begin by talking about objectives, both sporting and commercial. This is also a very interesting chance for dealing with general topics concerning karting, thanks to authoritative opinions and points of view, consolidated in over 40 years of experience in high-level karting.

In 2024 CRG will continue a process of repositioning the Kalì Kart brand in the International and National karting panorama. In the last two years, the collaboration with Jorge Pescador was launched for the Spanish market and the international races of the X30 Series, increasing commercial and sporting activities also in many other European and Asian countries.

Change at the top within the CRG racing department, who greets and thanks Team Manager Andrea Todisco, who will face new professional challenges, to welcome the new duo made up of Brandon Nilsson and Natalia Balbo to the helm of the structure.

At the end of the season that has just ended, as per tradition, Giancarlo Tinini draws up a sporting balance for the CRG brand, also facing the main technical and commercial issues affecting the karting world on a larger scale. From a sporting point of view, 2022 has seen the CRG colors conquering a new World title with Viktor Gustafsson in the KZ category, as well as obtaining success in the KZ2 World Cup with Arthur Carbonnel, successes that confirm an unparalleled winning tradition in the international arena.

Now that 2021 is definitely over, CRG boss Giancarlo Tinini draws up a sporting and commercial review of the past year, anticipating the most important themes of the upcoming new season.

CRG is pleased to announce a new important technical collaboration agreement with the NGM Motorsport team, which from the 2021 season will use CRG technical material in all categories and championships in which the team will take part. In particular, the collaboration with CRG will be very close for the KZ2 category, in which the Venetian team will line up three drivers of undisputed value: Giacomo Pollini, Natalia Balbo and Leonardo Bizzotto. NGM Motorsport is a very important reality in the field of national and international karting and boasts in its palmares various Italian titles and two prestigious placings in FIA events: 3rd place in the KZ2 World Cup last year and 2nd place in the European Championship 2018.

CRG has made official the first piece of its drivers’ line-up for 2021 by announcing Alex Irlando for the KZ category. The agreement with the Apulian driver is part of a large project to strengthen its Racing Team, which CRG is undertaking especially for the KZ categories.

The former F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan will be the promoter of a project in partnership with CRG to promote Karting in India. The academy, that had groomed several young drivers between 2006 and 2010 and won multiple National single-seater championships, now aims to promote karting in India.

The Coronavirus emergency stopped production, sporting events and everything that could help the virus spread, motorsport from F1 to Karting has made no exception. All FIA Karting and National Championship have been postponed to a later date and a lot of factories in this sector have shut down.

Since January 2020 Arnaud Kozlinski will not be part of the CRG technical staff anymore. The professional relationship between the Italian factory and the former French driver ends in friendly and consensual way, after a long and successful collaboration.
