The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team today launches its Driver Academy, welcoming Mari Boya as its first signed driver. The Spaniard, currently competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, will benefit from a comprehensive development programme designed to prepare young talent for the top echelons of motorsport.

Nissan Formula E Team will field Caio Collet and Gabriele Minì in the upcoming Rookie Test, which will take place on Monday, May 13 following the Berlin E-Prix doubleheader.

The Brazilian driver was followed by rookie Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport) and pole winner Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech Racing) to close the gap to eight points from the Formula Renault Eurocup leader, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix), who was fifth today.

For Pierre Gasly, as for French motorsport, 6th September 2020 will remain a date as important as it is happy. With his extraordinary victory at the Monza Grand Prix, Pierre put an end to a very long interval of 24 years without a French driver on the top step of a Formula 1 podium.
