Rocco Coronel has established himself as the driver to beat as the 20th anniversary season of the Ginetta Junior Championship continues with a triple-header this weekend at Oulton Park.

ProKart Raceland, Wackersdorf becomes the backdrop for a fresh take on karting from July 05 to 06, 2025, as BRP-Rotax launches its first-ever Rotax Life Challenge powered by TRAX – a casual, community-driven event that blends fun, data, coaching, and the spirit of grassroots racing.

FIA Formula 3 returns to continue its spring tripleheader this weekend, and it will be swinging from Imola to Monte Carlo before pivoting towards Barcelona. The world's most glamorous track will be hosting round 4 for this year's series, and PREMA Racing comes back to the track that handed the team a Feature Race win last year, looking to bounce back from a challenging early part of the season.

Parolin Motorsport took a double win at the first round of the WSK Euro Series at Viterbo in Italy from 14th to 17th May with Christian Costoya in OK and Elton Hedfors in Mini. Costoya took advantage of the excellent conditions to take a clean sweep at all stages of the event while Hedfors moved up from 6th in Qualifying to win his heats, Prefinal and the Final.
 

The IPK group has just made an admirable start to the FIA Karting European Championships for KZ and KZ2, which got underway in Valencia. The results speak for themselves: fastest race laps, victories in the heats, a podium in the Final and, above all, a brilliant result for the team as a whole, with a very high level of performance on the Spanish circuit for the IPK chassis, whether in Formula K or Praga colours.

In Valencia, the sensational results obtained at the Champions of the Future Shifter event were confirmed more than ever for Sodikart during the first round of the 2025 FIA Karting European Championship: Three drivers in the top five, two on the podium and victory for Max Orlov in KZ2. CPB Sport and the Sodi / TM machines have already taken the lead in the Team Championship. The drivers entered in KZ also battled at the front throughout the Spanish competition.
 

The first round of the European KZ Championship in Valencia was a success for Birelart Racing. Pedro Hiltbrand showed total mastery, winning the KZ Final by more than 3.2 seconds, confirming the effectiveness of the development work carried out by Birelart in the run-up to the season. Cristian Bertuca backed up this success by taking 3rd place on the podium and setting the fastest lap of the race. In KZ2, almost a third of the field chose the Birelart chassis, with four drivers in the top 10, including Corentin Rousseau, who finished 6th, among other outstanding results.

PREMA Racing stormed to the team's first win of the year in round 2 of the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Spa-Francorchamps, although incidents prevented the team from achieving more success with potential podiums slipping away.

Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic and VRD Racing’s Hugo Schwarze were the winners on Sunday at Zandvoort, while Australian drivers have taken over at the top of the championship standings. Ninovic claimed his first GB3 victory in race two this morning, while Schwarze took his own maiden win after a chaotic final contest. Australian trio Patrick Heuzenroeder, Ninovic and Noah Lisle fill the top-three in the standings heading to Spa-Francorchamps in a fortnight’s time. 

VRD Racing's Hugo Schwarze steered clear of chaos in the final GB3 Championship race at Zandvoort, passing Elite Motorsport's Will Macintyre early on and then surviving two safety car restarts to claim his first single-seater victory.

A new championships coordinator has taken up his duties at the start of the 2025 season. The 49-year-old Dane Jesper Carlsen comes to the job with a wealth of motor sport experience. A kart driver for over a decade, including a Danish Championship to and excellent results in the CIK-FIA European Championship in the 90’s, Jesper Carlsen continued his career in the sport by winning the Danish Formula Ford Championship, before going on to shine in Formula 3 and the Porsche Supercup. Professionally, his skills have led him to work in many fields: marketing and sponsorship consultant, coach and manager of young drivers, championship promoter, team manager, public relations, TV consultant and TV content producer.

The opening event of the WSK Euro Series at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo was won by Hedfors (MINI Gr.3), Godschalk (MINI U10), Xie (OK-NJ), Domain (OKJ), Scognamiglio (OK-N) and Costoya (OK).

With their powerful 125cc engines with gearboxes and Dunlop 'prime' tyres, they offer very high performance and should guarantee the maximum spectacle for the opening event on the Lucas Guerrero international circuit, located at Chiva near Valencia. It will also be the first of three competitions for the Junior Academy Trophy, which will be celebrating its 16th season!

The weather remained sunny in the Valencia region, with temperatures rising for the day's Qualifying Heats. Drivers and machines were put through their paces in Saturday's 13 races, which produced a large number of passes and twists and turns. In the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship, Spaniard Pedro Hiltbrand in KZ and Maksim Orlov in KZ2 retained the leads they had gained in Qualifying. Patrick Heuzenroeder claimed a first GB3 Championship victory both for himself and the Xcel Motorsport team in the first race of the weekend at Zandvoort. The Australian rebuffed a challenge off the line from Hitech TGR's Deagen Fairclough, and then put himself out of DRS reach across the opening couple of laps.

After the thrilling and spectacular first part of the season with the five rounds of the WSK Super Master Series, the time has come for the highly anticipated start of the WSK Euro Series. The first round will be held at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo from May 13th to 17th. The final phase will take place on Saturday.
