The fifth and closing round of the WSK Super Master Series promises spectacle at the Franciacorta Karting Track. The final stages will be broadcast through the Live Streaming on Sunday, March 22nd.
With the conclusion of the qualifying heats for the fifth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series at the Franciacorta Karting Track, all eyes are now turned toward the final phase on Sunday, March 22nd. This is when the category titles will finally be awarded, and the 2026 champions crowned, following the previous rounds at La Conca, Sarno, Viterbo, and Lonato.
“WSK is the highest level of karting”.
The event underway at Franciacorta is confirming its status as one of the highest-level international karting competitions. This is largely due to the exceptional organization of WSK Promotion, which has consistently achieved success over the last 20 years through a path of growth built season after season. This progress has been made possible by the trust of all industry stakeholders: manufacturers, teams, and, of course, the drivers.

Just yesterday, Toto Wolff, Executive Director of Mercedes Formula 1—during his visit to the Franciacorta circuit to meet with Andrea Kimi Antonelli—stated: “WSK is the highest level of karting”. This is a statement from someone who knows the karting environment well, particularly as his young son, Jack Fynn, is competing in the MINI Under 10 category.
Qualifying heats.
The qualifying heats have concluded, providing several surprises among the 372 verified drivers from 57 nations, including some of the top competitors. Everything now rests on Sunday's final phase, featuring the Prefinals and Finals, to determine the champions across the MINI, OK-NJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2 categories.
KZ2 – Bertuca is on top.
With two victories and a second-place finish, Cristian Bertuca (Birelart Racing – Birelart/Iame/LeCont) emerged as the best performer after the heats. Max Orlov, the Sodikart representative and championship leader, secured one victory along with a third-place finish in the first heat; however, his overall standing suffered significantly due to a retirement in his final heat, leaving him in P12.

Meanwhile, fellow Sodikart driver Senna Van Walstijn performed well, securing two wins and confirming himself as a major contender for the title. There were also strong performances from Bertuca’s Birelart teammate, the British driver Noah Wolfe—who took a win ahead of Bertuca—and Frenchman Emilien Denner (Formula K SRP – IPK/TM Kart).
The winners of the previous 4 rounds:
KZ2: Max Orlov (La Conca), Senna Van Walstijn (Sarno), Senna Van Walstijn (Viterbo), Max Orlov (Lonato).
MINI U10 – Burgess wins all the heats.
While Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) missed out on pole position, he did not miss his chance for victory in the heats. The young American driver swept all three heats and is preparing to celebrate a category title that is already his, thanks to the massive points lead he built up in the standings.

Positioned behind Burgess is the Frenchman Sasha Miras Y Munoz (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) with one victory, followed by the Canadian pole-sitter Leo Simone (Pantano by DAM – Pantano/Iame), who also secured a heat win, alongside the Dutchman Denver Bos (Kidix Driver – KR/Iame). Also among the top performers was the other Kidix driver, the American Zev Godschalk. Johan Berger (BabyRace) and Jack Fynn Wolff (KR Motorsport) currently occupy the tenth and eleventh positions, respectively.
The winners of the previous 4 rounds:
MINI U10: Zayne Burgess (La Conca), Zayne Burgess (Sarno), Sasha Miras y Munoz (Viterbo), Zayne Burgess (Lonato).
MINI Gr.3 – Frigerio amongst all.
Filippo Frigerio (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame/Vega) achieved a clean sweep of victories, recovering well from his qualifying sessions. The Italian driver, currently fourth in the championship, won all three of his heats to take the provisional lead ahead of Britain's Daniel Ferguson (Team Driver – KR/Iame), the championship leader and winner of the final heat of the day.

Also among the top performers were the American Wynn Godschalk (Kidix Driver – KR/Iame), who sits third in the championship, the Czech driver Alexandr Machac (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart), the Thai pole-sitter Phawin Warakitsupachok (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame), and Maltese driver Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), who trails Ferguson by just 6 points in the standings. Notably absent from the top of the heat rankings is the newly crowned champion and category dominator, Niccolò Perico (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame); though he tallied two victories, a retirement caused him to drop to P7. Other top performers include the Italian Gioele Carrer (Emme Racing – EKS/Modena Engines) and the Swiss driver Aurelio Longhitano (Spirit-Karting.CH – Tony Kart/Modena Engines).
The winners of the previous 4 rounds:

Among the most competitive is the Turkish driver Iskender Zulfikari (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) with two wins, though he trails the Indonesian Qarrar Firhand (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart) in the overall heat rankings. The Dutch pole-sitter Dean Hoogendoorn (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart) also claimed a heat win but suffered a retirement that hampered his standing. Another victory went to the Spaniard Benjamin Manach (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart), while the championship leader, the Ukrainian Lev Krutogolov (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame) is P8.
