All set for the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy at the International Circuit 7 Laghi

The 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy will get underway in the weekend of November 15th at the International Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia). After being postponed twice due to the Covid-19 emergency, the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy is ready to take place at the Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo in the weekend of November 15th, in the due respect of the sanitary regulations that allows events and competitions recognized as having International interest by the Sporting National Federations.

This in Castelletto di Branduzzo is going to be the 31st edition of the important event that is run in the memory of the young Andrea Margutti. This race that has been organized without interruption since 1990 by Parma Motorsport. A lot of the champions have put their name in the hall of fame of the event, that has been the springboard for a lot of drivers that climbed all the motorsport ladder up to Formula1.

The main racers of the MINI Group 3 International, OKJ, KZ2, X30 Junior and X30 Senior will be at the start of the 31st Andrea Margutti Trophy and will be busy on track coming November 12th for sporting scrutineering of the event that will officially kick off on Friday, November 13th with qualifying practice. Qualifying heats will follow on Saturday 14th, while second chance races, Prefinals and Finals will take place on Sunday from local 13.50.

 

Great presence in MINI.

MINI enjoys a great presence of strong youngsters that came to the fore in this season as Team Driver’s Antonio Apicella and Mark Kastelic, AV Racing’s Jan Przyrowski and Griffin Peebles, as well as Maciej Gladysz and Kai Sorensen that will be competing for Parolin Racing Kart, René Lammers for Baby Race, Dmitry Matveev and Enzo Tarnvanichkul for Energy Corse.

 

Good names in OK-Junior.

Remarkable in OK-Junior is the presence of Rashid Al Dhaheri and Valerio Rinicella with Parolin Racing Kart, Lukas Malek with Zanchi Motorsport, Alex Pawell with Kidix, Flavio Olivieri with Praga Racing Team and Riccardo Ianniello with KGT.

 

KZ2 packed with champions.

A lot of champions will contest KZ2, among these, some former winners of the Andrea Margutti Trophy, like Kristijan Habulin of TB Kart, who won the trophy back in 2013, 2015 winner Davide Forè of Intrepid Driver Program, 2012 champion Fabian Federer of Maranello Kart, the winner in 2005 Andrea Dalè of Nuova 3M on CRG and Giacomo Pollini on Formula K of NGM Motorsport, who won the trophy in 2016. Pietro Delli Guanti will also be present on a CKR kart run by Duell Race. He has been competing in Formula 4 in this season and recently claimed the win in Monza.

 

X30 Junior at the debut in the Andrea Margutti Trophy.

A lot of names shine in the long entry list of X30 Junior – the category that is at the debut in the Andrea Margutti Trophy. Among these, the new Italian Champion Manuel Scognamiglio of team Gamoto who will have to face the challenge of Matteo Luvisi of Newman Motorsport, Riccardo Leone Cirelli who will be competing for Autoeuropeo, Giulio Olivieri for Righetti Ridolfi, Federico Rossi and Ronnie Stefani for PRK, Francesco Marenghi for Team Driver, Oleksandr Bondarev for Honta Victor and the Academy Trophy CIK-FIA driver Matteo De Palo for Mixauto Motorsport.

 

Great spectacle ahead also in X30 Senior.

The participation in X30 Senior is also remarkable. Last year’s winner Edoardo Ludovico Villa will be present for TB Kart, 2017 champion Vittorio Maria Russo for Team Driver. The new Italian Champion Danny Carenini will defend Team Autoeuropeo’s colors, while his main rival Cristian Comanducci PRK’s, and other protagonists of the category will challenge them as Mattia Ingolfo and Alessandro Cenedese of Team Driver, Brando Pozzi of Top Kart, Valentino Baracco of Kalì-Kart, Arnaud Malizia and Andrea Moretti of Autoeuropeo, Federico Albanese of Gold Kart, Rocco Mazzola of PRK, Giuseppe Gaglianò of New Technology, and a lot more.
