Following Qualifying Heats held in variable grip conditions, Spain's Pedro Hiltbrand Aguilar took the lead in the intermediate standings of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Italy's Cristian Bertuca maintained his lead in the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and France's Anthony Abbasse took the lead in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - Masters.

At the Champions of the Future Shifters event in Portimão, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR wins the pole position in KZ and the place of honour in KZ2 Masters class

The new Champions of the Future Shifters, which has just taken place in Portimao, featured Birel ART drivers in all three categories. Daniel Vasile took victory in KZ2, while Artem Severiukhin was on the podium, Pedro Hiltbrand secured 3rd place in KZ and Davide Foré 4th in KZ2 Master. Two weeks before the World Championship, Lissone's products are showing excellent competitiveness.

Following their excellent results in the FIA Karting European Championship in the Shifter categories, Sodi chassis continued their haul of success on the Portimao circuit in southern Portugal. Anthony Abbasse, who dominated the KZ2 Masters, won the Champions of the Future Shifter 2024 title.

For four days, the Algarve International Karting Circuit in Portimao vibrated to the rhythm of the KZ, KZ2 and KZ Master karts at a meeting eagerly awaited by competitors. The world meeting at PFI proved to be as difficult as expected. With a record number of participants and a formidable track, the battles were fierce, not to mention the rain for the Finals.
