Kean Nakamura-Berta leaves Paul Ricard leading the FIA Formula Regional European Championship for the first time this season after a brilliant weekend at Circuit Paul Ricard, claiming victory in Race 1 and third in Race 2 to move 13 points clear at the top of the standings. It was PREMA's most significant weekend of the season so far, with Tomass Stolcermanis also showing strong pace across both races and Salim Hanna fighting hard despite difficult circumstances.

The German Kart Championship (DKM) reached the halfway point of the 2026 season at the Schweppermannring in Ampfing. A total of 135 drivers from 20 nations delivered thrilling racing on the 1,063-meter circuit. Particular attention was drawn to the guest appearances of DTM driver Arjun Maini and DTM TV commentator David Schumacher (both Arena E Team) in the OK-N category.

In excellent weather conditions, the superb organisation by 3MK Events, in collaboration with BRP-Rotax, enabled the 370 drivers from 47 nations across five continents competing in the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy to take part in an intense and spectacular competition at the Le Mans circuit.

Kenzo Craigie is the new E4 Championship leader after securing two victories at Paul Ricard. The R-ace GP Mercedes Junior driver won both Sunday races after finishing third in Race 1, bringing his total to 138 points and moving ahead of Finland's Luka Sammalisto in the standings.

Sebastian Wheldon claimed his first victory since Zandvoort in the second and final race of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship weekend at Paul Ricard. The MP Motorsport driver, who inherited pole position after a post-qualifying penalty was handed to R-ace GP's Emanuele Olivieri, went on to claim victory and score valuable championship points. R-ace GP's Rashid Al Dhaheri, who arrived in France leading the championship, finished sixth.

Sunday’s programme opens with Qualifying 2 at 09:05 CEST ahead of Race 2, which is due to get underway at 16:20 CEST.

Fifteen-year-old Belgian motorsport talent Dries Van Langendonck has joined the Verstappen Racing group. The 8th edition of the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy is taking place at Le Mans in the midst of a heatwave. In response to a request from the authorities in the Sarthe department, 3MK Events has adjusted the schedule for the first three days of the competition. To prevent drivers from racing during the hottest part of the day, the qualifying sessions originally scheduled for Wednesday from 2.50 pm have been moved to the evening, starting at 9.20 pm.
