Audi Development Programme drivers, Emma Felbermayr and Freddie Slater, continued their campaigns with a strong run of results over the summer, as F1 Academy visited Canada and Great Britain while Formula 3 embarked on its European leg. Podiums and consistent points finishes have kept both drivers firmly in the fight for their respective championships.

In this milestone year, no fewer than four drivers on the Formula 1 grid began their careers with the Dutch team. This impressive achievement highlights Van Amersfoort Racing’s (VAR) significant impact on international motorsport.

Williams Racing Academy Driver Zak O’Sullivan will take part in the first Free Practice session at the 2023 Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The 2023 Formula 3 Vice Champion will get behind the wheel of Alex Albon’s FW45 at Yas Marina Circuit for the hour session. Zak’s outing, his first in the FW45, fulfills the team’s second and final mandated rookie driver session this season.

At Bugatti, he has been using that rich experience and deep expertise since 2005, when he became the first – and only – Pilote Officiel of the brand. “I always knew I was destined for a life on the track and behind the wheel,” says Pierre-Henri. “Having started in karting, I knew from a very young age that I wanted to pursue a career interwoven with motorsport.”

The Karting Champions League is the new player within the karting world where its basis, arrive & drive, is unique for a championship. Everyone in each of the five classes races the same kart with the same set-up, the engines are changed every weekend and for a fixed amount per year.

MP Motorsport's Formula 2 and 3 teams travelled to Monza this weekend as support series of the Formula 1 circus. For the Formula 3 team this was the season finale, which could not have gone better for the team from the Netherlands.  The qualifying session on Friday was a tricky one, due to numerous red flags it was decided that the session would not be finished with 10 minutes to go. As a result, Jonny Edgar qualified fourth, which was his best result this season. Mari Boya and Franco Colapinto finished in 15th and 16th positions, but disqualifications promoted them to P11 and P12.

As the global motorsports calendar moves into the beginning of the European season, MP Motorsport have announced the addition of Emirati racing stars Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi to their academy programme for the upcoming season, with the team joining the new F1 all-female driver series introduced for 2023.

W Series, the international single-seater motor racing championship for female drivers, today announces that Irina Sidorkova and Nerea Martí will take part in a full testing day with the FIA Formula 3 Championship at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, France, on 9 November 2021.
 

PREMA Racing posted its sixth win of the year today at Circuit Park Zandvoort as FIA Formula 3 racing kicked off today at the famed and challenging Dutch venue. 
 

PREMA Racing is ready to begin writing another chapter of a successful history this weekend at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The 4.7-kilometre Spanish venue, home to the Grand Prix of Spain, is hosting the opening round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
 

PREMA Racing is proud to announce that Arthur Leclerc will be part of the team’s 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship line-up. The 20-year-old Monegasque racer, part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, will stay within the PREMA family after entering the 2020 Formula Regional European Championship.

A tight and spectacular sprint race handed PREMA Racing a double points finish at Red Bull Ring as the FIA Formula 2 Championship rounded out its first weekend of the year. After cruising to his first series podium in race 1, Robert Shwartzman took fourth place making the most of the situation on the Austrian circuit. Once again, having trains of cars on DRS made attacking really difficult, and the lengthy safety-car situations added up to that. The 20-year-old Russian exits the weekend second in championship points.

Racing car driver Glenn van Berlo will make his Formula 3 debut this season. This means another step up in motorsport for the eighteen-year-old talent from the Netherlands, who honed his racecraft in karting for many years. After a successful debut in Formula 4 in 2019, he will be competing in the Euroformula Open championship this year. He will race for the Spanish top team Drivex.
