Saturday had left Aspar with unfinished business. Axel Nocom and Angelina Simons Torres had controlled their respective qualifying programmes without converting them into Final victories, while Mayson Hibbert had completed the opening day unbeaten. Sunday offered one final opportunity to master the unfamiliar circuit and another full day of closely fought racing in the Spanish heat.

The unfamiliar 1,647-metre circuit provided exactly the test expected of it. Drivers faced intense heat, tightly packed racing and drama as the penultimate round of the 2026 Champions of the Future Academy Program International Series began at the Aspar Circuit.

The major event in the 2025 IAME calendar got off to an intense start at the Lucas Guerrero International Circuit in Chiva, near Valencia. The substantial amount of entrants confirms the appeal of this event, and every available space in the paddock was needed to accommodate the drivers and the numerous teams in the best possible conditions. IAME, together with its partners RGMMC and the Spanish circuit managers, is once again offering a high standard of organisation this year.
