Munich. The ADAC Kart Masters will return to the German karting calendar in 2026. With the opening of registration, the official starting signal has now been given for the comeback season of this long-established racing series. The championship is clearly positioned as a national link between the ADAC regional karting series and the German Kart Championship (DKM), offering an attractive platform at a high sporting level for both young talents and experienced competitors. Registration is now open at adac.de/motorsport.
For the 2026 season, the number of entries in all classes is limited to ensure a competitive and well-organized field. In the Mini (A+B), OK-N Junior, OK-N, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, and KZ2 Masters categories, a maximum of 36 registered drivers will be accepted per class. In the shifter kart category KZ2, the entry limit is set at 54 drivers.
An expansion option is available for the OK-N Junior class: in the event of strong demand, the grid may be increased to up to 54 participants. The Mini class will again be split into Group A and Group B. Both groups will compete together in the same races; Group A will run under the new CIK-FIA Mini regulations, while Group B will continue under last season’s regulations.
The registration fee for all classes is €1,760 including VAT. This fee includes the entry fee, environmental and disposal charges, as well as one test day per event.
For the 2026 season, the ADAC Kart Masters continues to rely on proven tire partners: VEGA tires will be used in the KZ2, KZ2 Masters, OK-N, OK-N Junior, and Mini categories, while the X30 Junior and X30 Senior classes will compete on Komet tires.
The 2026 ADAC Kart Masters calendar consists of four race weekends at nationally renowned and technically demanding circuits. The season opener will take place at the Motorsport Arena Mülsen, followed by events at Zimmermann Karting Ampfing and the Erftlandring in Kerpen. All three events will be held one week prior to the respective DKM race weekends. The season finale is scheduled for early October at ProKart Raceland Wackersdorf.
