Birel ART masters the field in KZ2

Birel ART shone again in Las Vegas with a fine victory at the SKUSA Supernats XXVII. Daniel Vasile (Italkart) won the Pro Shifter category, continuing from Matheus Morgatto's domination until two laps from the finish of the Final after an incredible comeback. Pedro Hiltbrand meanwhile made up five places to take 2nd place on the podium. Cristian Bertuca maintained a very fast pace throughout the race, but was unlucky in the Final, while Jordon Lennox made a remarkable comeback by finishing in the top 15 after moving up six places.

A week later, the Cremona track hosted the final race of the season, the second round of the WSK Final Cup. Cristian Bertuca was on course to fight for victory before being forced to retire in the Final due to a technical problem. Martinius Stenshorne, an FIA F3 driver with Hitech, was back in karting at Cremona with CL Racing. He gradually built up the pace to finish 2nd in his Prefinal and made up four places in the Final, finishing 4th ahead of Samuele Leopardi. Bertuca nevertheless finished 4th in the Championship, while Stenshorne drove straight to 6th position. In OK, Noah Wolfe of the VAR by Birel team made up 12 places in the Final to finish 15th, followed by Andy Consani.

Of particular note in the Mini U10 category was the participation of the first 'BIREL ART RACING RISING STARS' driver Edoardo Traina who, despite his young age, showed great potential. Two other drivers from the Easykart single-make series also took part in the event, achieving interesting results given their limited experience: Marco Pozzoni (Mini Gr. 3) and Antonio Campo (OK).

Birel ART wishes you a happy festive season and looks forward to seeing you in 2025 as we continue our quest for success on tracks the world over.
