British sports racing car company Ginetta has unveiled its plans for the 2025 racing season and beyond during an event at Donington Park circuit. Building on a highly successful season of racing in 2024, the Garforth-based firm is poised to take its series of championships, which cater for all levels from rookies to experienced racers, to new heights. The initiatives will further cement Ginetta’s position as the provider of the world’s best single-make race series and provide a compelling and affordable long-term racing platform.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine officially returned to action after the summer break this morning at Imola, the circuit hosting the seventh of the season’s ten double-header rounds.

Polish driver Aleksander Mizera and the Idola Motorsport team will both race for the first time in the GB4 Championship at Donington Park this weekend (7/8 September).

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to return to action this weekend at Imola, following the summer break, for the seventh round of the season. The circuit, nestled along the banks of the Santerno River and renowned as a prestigious venue for one of the rounds of the Formula 1 calendar, is ready to host another thrilling weekend. This event will further shape the intense championship battle organized by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing.

Rodin Motorsport has confirmed that British racer Freddie Slater will join the team for the penultimate round of the GB3 Championship at Donington Park this weekend (7/8 September).

Trident Motorsport was able to celebrate a triumphant weekend conclusion in the FIA Formula 3 Championship finale at Monza, winning the Feature Race with Sami Meguetounif and sealing the Driver Championship with Leonardo Fornaroli. The Frenchman took off in front and never looked back after taking the lead, while the Italian, who started from pole, managed to secure the crown with a stunning last-corner pass for third place that handed him the drivers's title.

Isle of Man-born Nickolas Ellis will make his GB4 Championship debut with Elite Motorsport at Donington Park next month (7-8 September). The 17-year-old Cambridge-based driver made his car-racing debut with the Norfolk squad at Brands Hatch last September and now has 22 Ginetta Junior Championship races under his belt, gaining valuable racing experience with Elite.

Red Bull Junior driver Oliver Goethe was supposed to arrive at Monza for the final round of the 2024 FIA F3 championship as a title contender, but a sudden turn of events provided the young German with an opportunity he couldn’t miss.

Nina Gademan certainly made an impression on her F1 ACADEMY debut in Zandvoort. On the cusp of a podium in both races, the Dutch racer put on a memorable showing, becoming the first Wild Card entry to score points.

Williams Racing is thrilled to announce that Dutch karting talent Dean Hoogendoorn will be joining the team’s Driver Academy for 2024 onwards.

Race nine of this season’s Prototype Cup Germany, which took place at the Nürburgring, was dominated by Ralf (49/Salzburg) and David Schumacher (22/Salzburg, both US Racing). Six-time Grand Prix winner Ralf Schumacher took the lead at the start, before consistently extending his lead on a track that was still wet in places.

The Prototype Cup Germany is at the Nürburgring this weekend (16th to 18th August). As well as the title race, the focus will also be on two prominent guests at the penultimate race weekend of the LMP3 series: former Formula 1 driver and present-day TV expert Ralf Schumacher (49/Salzburg) will line up in a Ligier together with his son David (22/Salzburg).

July was a busy month for the Eurocup3 single-seater championship, with no fewer than three events held in the space of four weeks. Swiss driver Dario Cabanelas was able to continue his progress in three different countries and on three leading European circuits: Paul Ricard in France, Zandvoort in the Netherlands and Motorland Aragon in Spain. With the MP Motorsport team, Dario enjoyed a number of satisfying experiences, particularly during the Qualifying sessions, but also fell victim to incidents which deprived him of deserved results.

The 2024 season of the Spanish F4 Championship has reached its midpoint with the fourth round of the year held at Motorland Aragón. There, Maciej Gladysz (KCL by MP Motorsport), with two poles and two victories, has thrust himself into the title fight, while the leader, Keanu Al Azhari (MP Motorsport), secured his third win of the year and heads into the summer break with a lead of over 30 points.

A quick road trip for father and son, Ralf and David Schumacher: the former Formula 1 driver, now a TV expert, is set to make his one-off motorsport comeback alongside his son David. Father and son Schumacher line up together in the Prototype Cup Germany at the DTM event at the Nürburgring from 16th to 18th August.

KMR Sport’s Lucas Blakeley stormed to a crushing victory in the second GB4 race of the weekend at Silverstone, while Elite Motorsport’s Finn Harrison was triumphant in a dramatic event finale on the Grand Prix circuit. Blakeley’s win, over 15 seconds clear of the pack, established a new series record for the biggest winning margin in the championship’s history. 

Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell and Rodin Motorsport’s Arthur Rogeon claimed victories on Sunday at Silverstone, as the championship fight tightened up further. 

The Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car which will be used in the GB4 Championship from the 2025 season onwards made its first public appearance at Silverstone today (Friday).

VRD Racing will return to the GB4 Championship at Silverstone, fielding a single-car entry for rising American star Ava Dobson. The 15-year-old will make her first European racing appearance at the event, having competed in three different single-seater categories in the USA over the past year.
