The new Champion is Akshay Bohra, the Indian-American driver from US Racing. After two P2 finishes this weekend, Bohra entered Race 3 as the Championship leader, with only Freddie Slater from Prema Racing and Hiyu Yamakoshi from Van Amersfoort left in the title fight. However, Yamakoshi needed nothing less than a win, with Bohra finishing out of the points, to claim the title.

The Spanish weekend was decisive for the fate of the Italian F.4 Championship, with the final closure of the drivers’ standings and Freddie Slater’s dominant triumph. The race that brought the weekend to a close marked the first win for Jack Beeton, the Australian driver from US Racing who has been one of the season’s revelations. Beeton, after standing on the second step of the podium seven times this year—most recently in Race 1 at Barcelona—finally celebrated from the top spot.

The weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will remain memorable for fans of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, as Rafael Camara secured the championship title. The Brazilian driver needed only a fourth-place finish to claim the season crown, with one round still left to race. The Ferrari Driver Academy star becomes the fourth driver to inscribe his name on the series’ roll of honor and the first Brazilian to win the championship organized by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing. Camara’s season includes 6 victories, two second places, and two third-place finishes.

The British driver sealed the deal in Barcelona with the win in Race 2. Prema Racing mathematically confirmed their Team Trophy victory.

In Barcelona, during the first of the 3 races in the penultimate round of the Italian F.4 Championship, Freddie Slater from Prema Racing claimed his twelfth win of the season, coming within a hair’s breadth of securing the title. With US Racing’s Akshay Bohra stalling on pole at the start, the only driver to keep the fight alive until Sunday was Hiyu Yamakoshi from Van Amersfoort Racing.

Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell enjoyed his best day of the season, as he claimed pole position on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit with a record-breaking lap time and then a commanding victory. As he converted pole into a dominant win, drama in the title race meant that John Bennett and Tymek Kucharczyk gained ground on Louis Sharp, to ensure the fight goes all the way to the final day.
