One week after winning the Italian Championship title and securing multiple podium finishes in the WSK during the season, Modena Racing Team have been crowned world champions! Gioele Girardello made history by becoming the first winner of the FIA Karting World Cup in OK-N Junior. The Italian completely dominated the event in Italy, on the Cremona circuit. By climbing onto the third step of the podium, Switzerland's Albert Tamm completed the triumph of this leading team, which rewarded the extreme performance of their Parolin-TM Kart combinations.

October will be the month with the KZ2 and KZ categories taking center stage in the international karting scene. Next weekend (with Finals scheduled for Saturday, October 4), the 2nd and final round of the Champions of the Future will take place in Franciacorta, Italy. The following week, from October 8 to 11, on the same track, the most important event of the season for the Shifter categories is scheduled: the FIA World Championship KZ and the World Cup KZ2 and KZ Master. The most prominent drivers and teams in these categories will be based in Italy for 15 days to crown the 2025 World Champions. CRG boasts a prestigious and winning history in these categories, and once again this year, CRG and Kalì Kart chassis are expected to be among the frontrunners.
 

According to the egalitarian principle which has always prevailed in this competition, the 86 or so drivers entered this season in each of the two FIA Karting Academy Trophies, Senior and Junior categories, have had the use of strictly identical equipment: this includes chassis and engines (supplied by OTK), tyres (provided by Maxxis or LeCont, depending on the category), overalls and gloves (branded OMP) and the data acquisition system (of the Alfano brand).

The new FIA Karting event, which brought together the OK-N and OK-N Junior World Cups, as well as the third and final competition of the Academy Trophy - Junior, lived up to all expectations. On the Cremona circuit, the last day ended in sunshine with some very exciting Finals. Italy's Manuel Scognamiglio made the difference in OK-N, and his compatriot Gioele Girardello made history by becoming the first winner of the OK-N Junior World Cup. While Lithuania's Nojus Stasionis won the Academy - Junior Final, the title was clinched by Finland's Oiva Vettenranta on the final lap

At the Italian circuit of Cremona, the second edition of the OK-N World Cup, the first for the OK-N Junior category and the FIA Karting Academy Trophy produced an incredible spectacle, with 34 intense races since the end of Qualifying. Rain on Saturday reshuffled the deck, sometimes changing the rankings and causing a few incidents in the pack. In all categories, many drivers believe they have a chance of victory. At this stage, Italians Manuel Scognamiglio in OK-N and Gioele Girardello in OK-N Junior, as well as Frenchman Maël Le Marchand in Academy - Junior, are leading the intermediate rankings.

The FIA Karting is inaugurating a new event from 25th to 28th September 2025 with the World Cup for the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories alongside the third and final competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior. The 211 participants started the Free Practice sessions with great ambitions, despite changing weather conditions throughout the sessions. The Cremona track was not completely dry when some of the drivers took to the track for Qualifying, forcing the teams to make difficult choices. In the Lombardy region of Italy, South African William Marshall in OK-N, Italian Gioele Girardello in OK-N Junior and Lithuanian Nojus Stasionis in Academy-Junior achieved the fastest times.

From today until Sunday, September 28, the Cremona Circuit in Italy will host the FIA World Cup for the OKN and OKN Junior categories. For CRG, this international meeting is a very important event, as it brings together under the FIA’s banner the best drivers from the National OKN Championships — the categories that are being promoted to support the growth of our sport at the national level.
 

Launched for the first time in 2024 as the curtain-raiser to the world championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories, the FIA Karting World Cup - OK-N will this time headline an event that will also feature the OK-N Junior and the third and final round of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior. A magnificent field of 225 drivers is expected in Lombardy at the Cremona circuit from 25th to 28th September 2025.

Emiliano Hernandez has just had 10 very important days in his career as a young Mexican motorsport hopeful. Competing in only his first season in Junior in FIA Karting, the 13-year-old driver proved himself capable of competing with the world's best. Competing for Spanish team DPK Racing, equipped with a Fernando Alonso Kart chassis and now supported by Aston Martin F1, he delivered two top-level performances in the space of a week: both in the Champions of the Future Euro Series and then in the World Championship at the Kristianstad circuit in Sweden, with front row starts, victories in Qualifying Heats and fastest laps. Emiliano Hernandez is definitely a driver to watch closely and support in the future...

The fourth round of the 2025 Champions of the Future Academy Program at the Slovakia Ring wrapped up the European leg of the season in style. Blessed with warm, summery weather, the drivers enjoyed near-perfect conditions — and they delivered some of the most intense and spectacular racing of the year so far.
