In the United Arab Emirates, numerous drivers took part in the fifth and penultimate round of the Champions of the Future Academy Program, confirming the success of the series and its "arrive and drive" concept. The objective of complete sporting fairness was once again achieved, allowing drivers to make their mark in a high-level competition, organised with rigour and professionalism by RGMMC.

When the FIA announced earlier this year that the first-ever Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup would come to the Asia-Pacific region, accessibility, affordability and inclusion were set at the heart of what has been a landmark event on the International Sporting Calendar. 
 

Budding racers from across the world descend on the LYL International Circuit for the inaugural FIA Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup, held over 14 - 16 November 2025. 107 drivers aged 12 - 19 will compete over the course of the weekend in what is set to be a closely fought competition between the next generation of racing champions.

The global event held in Italy gave the IPK Group the opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency of its chassis and the expertise of the teams representing the Praga and Formula K brands. David Trefilov, who took pole position, dominated the KZ World Championship for much of the race but suffered an incident in the Final. Just off the podium, Marek Skřivan finished in the top five of the KZ2 World Cup and Davide Fore finished runner-up in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup!

Once again, the CRG colors proved to be among the stars of the KZ category, taking 2nd place in the FIA World Championship held in Italy. On the Franciacorta track, Viktor Gustavsson was crowned World Vice Champion, continuing CRG’s long-standing tradition of strong results in the “top class” of shifter karting.

The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team. Three drivers enjoyed a great first. Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn won the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Maksim Orlov dominated the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and Angelo Lombardo held off Davide Fore in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters.

After 33 Qualifying Heats run from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, uncertainty still reigns at the Franciacorta International Circuit. With around 250 drivers spread across three categories, it was essential to secure a good position before the start of the Qualifying Heats. The wait is over: from Thursday, October 9th to Sunday, October 12th, the Franciacorta circuit in Italy will host the most important event of the year for the Shifter categories — the FIA World Championship KZ-KZ2 and KZ2 Master. Over 250 drivers and the most prestigious international karting teams will compete for the most coveted title in the gearbox categories.

Parolin Motorsport and satellite team drivers finished on the podium in all categories at the last round of the Champions of the Future Shifter series at Franciacorta, just a week before the vital World Championship meeting at the same northern Italian circuit. The weather was fine all weekend, but with a definite autumnal chill in the air.

Following their success in the FIA Karting European Championships and WSK, Sodi chassis have just been crowned Champions of the Future Shifter in both the KZ and KZ2 categories. With one week to go before the World Championship, Senna Van Walstijn made a strong impression in KZ against tough competition on the Italian circuit of Franciacorta, winning the overall series classification ahead of his team-mate Jean Nomblot.

Since the beginning of October, the Franciacorta paddock has echoed with the sound of 125cc gearbox engines from the various KZ categories. With 203 participants, the Champions of the Future Shifter kicked off the action on the initiative of promoter RGMMC. From 9th to 12th October, FIA Karting will take over with the World Championship, with no fewer than 253 drivers expected in the Italian region of Brescia. Clearly, as manufacturer LeCont is supplying the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters in these two prestigious events, world-class drivers and their teams have enjoyed racing with premium tyres offering optimum performance, perfectly suited to their powerful karts!

Race week is here! The Grand Finale for KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters at the 1300m Franciacorta Karting Track! One last showdown, one last chance for glory, and all the power of the shifters ready to roar across the circuit. This Final Round is also good preparation for drivers and technicians, as the FIA Karting World Championship KZ, KZ2, and KZ2 Masters will take place on the same race track from October 9th to 12th. Who’s going to close the season on top? We will know it after the finals on Saturday.
