The WSK Super Cup event to be held from September 4th to 8th at the Franciacorta Karting Track has been announced as having excellent driver participation. Organized by WSK Promotion, this single-event race is also valid for the Italian ACI Sport KZN Championship and the ACI Sport National Trophy for the MINI, OK-N and OK-NJ categories.

Qualifying practice will kick off the WSK Super Cup on Friday, September 6th. The event will also be valid for the Italian ACI Karting KZN and ACI Sport National Trophy.

Williams Racing is thrilled to announce that Dutch karting talent Dean Hoogendoorn will be joining the team’s Driver Academy for 2024 onwards.

The event at the Franciacorta Karting Track is valid also for the Italian ACI Karting KZN Championship and ACI Karting National Trophy of MINI, OK-N and OK-NJ.

Between two European Championship events, the WSK Euro Series made its debut on the Franciacorta circuit last weekend. Parolin Motorsport did not miss this opportunity to train its young drivers and to continue its development work.

June was a particularly busy month for KR Motorsport and its partner teams, with three major international competitions in less than 30 days. Whether in the Champions of the Future Euro Series, the FIA Karting European Championship or WSK Promotion, victory was on the cards in several categories, with various tyre manufacturers. At Franciacorta, on the opening event of the WSK Euro Series, the Italian brand took victory with Swede Scott Lindblom (Fusion Motorsport) in OK and with Team Driver Racing Kart: Daniel Miron Lorente in Mini Group 3 and Antonio Pizzonia in OK-N Junior.

The 2024 WSK Euro Series got underway on the Franciacorta track with the hottest weekend of the season so far, with temperatures regularly in excess of 30°. The Birel ART Racing Team drivers achieved very positive results in OK. Ean Eyckmans returned to the Final top five, while Ludovico Busso finished 9th.

The victory at the Franciacorta Karting Track went to Robertson (MINI U10), Miron Lorente (MINI Gr.3), Pizzonia (OKNJ), Yildirim (OKN), Kamyab (OKJ), and Lindblom (OK). The next round will be in Sarno on September 29th.

Qualifying heats defined the main contenders for the final stages on Sunday, June 30th. The TV Live Streaming of the Prefinals will start at 9:30, and that of the Finals at 13:20. 

The first qualifying heats named the first candidate to the victory after qualifying practice. The final heats will take place on Saturday, June 29th, while the final stages will be on Sunday, June 30th with prefinals and finals.
 

The opener of the WSK Euro Series kicked off with the pole positions going to Molota (OKNJ), Rafalik (OKN), Kamyab (OKJ), Lindblom (OK), Robertson (MINI U10), and Miron (MINI Gr.3). Qualifying heats will follow. Live Streaming coverage of the event stars on Sunday, June 30th at 9:30.

Due to some scheduling issues, the second round in Sarno is moved back to the date of September 29th with the MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ and OK categories on track.

The round of Sarno has been anticipated from September 29th  to July 14th with categories MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ, OK and KZ2 on track. The opening round in Franciacorta has been confirmed for June 30th. Entries accepted from May 31st.  

On the occasion of the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, held at the circuit of La Conca, their Tony Kart Rookie triumphs in Race 1 of the MINI Gr.3 with the rookie Achille Rea.

The KZ2 class ended up with almost 90 drivers in the overall standings of the WSK Open Series. Cristian Bertuca, who finished 2nd in the first round at Franciacorta, gave Birel ART Racing victory and the title in the second round at La Conca. Bertuca, who has already won the WSK Super Master Series, confirms his competitiveness and that of Birel ART / TM Kart, while we still have to wait a month and a half for the start of the European KZ / KZ2 Championship.
