The Energy Corse team has once again confirmed its place amongst the international elite of karting. Lev Krutogolov is the new WSK Super Master Series champion in OK, one of the most competitive and demanding categories. Throughout the five rounds, the Ukrainian driver’s performance proved exceptionally competitive. The performances from Jarlath Sayer and Matvei Dergunov with Prima Racing in OK-Junior rounded off this remarkable result.
Three podium finishes, including two wins, plus the title for Krutogolov
Winner at La Conca in the season opener, Lev Krutogolov and Energy Corse never let up despite intense pressure from the other teams. Lev increased his points tally at Sarno, whilst also securing the fastest lap of the race. At Viterbo, he hammered home his dominance by winning again, setting the fastest lap of the Final. Whatever the circuit, whether fast or more technical, the Energy Corse-IAME package got the job done.
He impressed once more at Lonato, climbing 14 places to finish on the third step of the podium. At Franciacorta, Krutogolov was able to manage the substantial lead he had built up in the overall standings. He consistently ran in the leading pack. He won the Super Heat by setting the fastest lap, before securing 4th place – enough to make him the 2026 champion of WSK Promotion’s most prestigious series.
Double top-eight finish in OK-Junior
The expertise of the Energy Corse team continues to shine across all categories. A podium finish in the series was within reach for Jarlath Sayer in OK-Junior. Having set two fastest laps during the event, the Briton unfortunately crashed in one heat, before finishing P6 in the Final and P4 in the overall standings.
His team-mate Matvei Dergunov (Prima Racing team) was the revelation of the final stages of the WSK Super Master Series. Boosted by his 2nd place finish at Lonato, he started by finishing 4th in Qualifying. The Russian then went on to win a heat and the Super Heat! The points from his 8th place in the Final allowed him to climb to 8th place in the series standings.
Energy Corse congratulates all the other drivers in the team: Jan Gardzielik moved up from 32nd to 19th place in the OK-Junior final. Mik Klinkers finished 7th in the Mini 60 Gr.3 Final and Filip Stec 15th. Well done to Ben Bernhard for qualifying for the Mini U10 Final, and our best wishes go to Bastian Kleiner (Mini Gr.3) and Felipe Sanches (OK-Junior).
