The Saturday of heats at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has shaped the overall rankings after heats. Leading their respective categories are Emerson Macandrew-Uren (Mini MAX), Bran Vanderveken (Junior MAX), Tino Sidler (Senior MAX), Sem Knopjes (DD2) and Nicolas Picot (DD2 Masters).
Mini MAX – Uren on top, Quessada struggles
Emerson Macandrew-Uren secured two wins and a sixth place to claim pole position for the Pre-Final of the Italian Euro Cup Mini MAX. Strong comeback drive by Ava Lawrence (Strawberry Racing), who finished 2nd ahead of Oliver Spencer (KR Sport). Poleman Marc Quessada (MKC Motorsport) had to settle for 5th overall after a costly P10 in the opening heat.
Junior MAX – Vanderveken stays on top
Bouvin Power’s Bran Vanderveken holds on to 1st place with two victories and a 2nd place. Great recovery by Kai Clarke (KR Sport), who climbed 13 positions from 15th to 2nd overall. The top five is completed by Mazinas Majus (KR Sport), Boaz Maximov (Bouvin Power) and Dragos Avasilcutei (MKC Motorsport).
Senior MAX – Sidler ahead of the title contenders
DHR’s Tino Sidler remains at the top after the heats. Right behind him are Sean Butcher (KR Sport) and Macauley Bishop (Dan Holland Racing), both in contention for the 2025 RMCET title. Bishop leads the “DHR pack,” with four teammates following closely: Tereza Babickova, Yort and Ties Van Wijk, and Cameron Nelson.
DD2 / DD2 Masters – Knopjes and Picot still in control
Once again, it’s Sem Knopjes (DAEMS Racing) and Nicolas Picot (Privateer) who lead the way in DD2 and DD2 Masters. The battle for the overall win in DD2 looks set to be a three-way fight, with Knopjes joined by Mika van de Pavert (SP Motorsport) and Italian driver Michael Rosina (MKC Motorsport).
Tomorrow will be the decisive day for the outcome of the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. Five titles and ten tickets are on the line.
