With 203 participants, the Champions of the Future Shifter kicked off the action on the initiative of promoter RGMMC. The particularly changeable weather conditions in southern Denmark during the final round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - OK & OK-Junior and the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Senior produced many twists and turns. In OK, Sweden's Viktor Gustafsson caused a surprise by winning the Final, while Spain's Christian Costoya had enough of a lead to be crowned Champion despite retiring. The Netherlands' Dean Hoogendoorn secured a fourth place finish, enough to take the European OK-Junior Championship, while Canada's Ilie Crisan sped to victory. In the Academy-Senior class, Japan's Yuzuki Sato scored a double victory by winning the race and the title.

After an eventful first day, Saturday's Qualifying Heats brought more surprises at the Rødby Karting Ring. In all three categories, the drivers are keen to finish their European tour on a high note, with several still in contention for a prestigious international title. Already leading the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship in OK-Junior, Dutchman Dean Hoogendoorn performed excellently to emerge as the leader in the intermediate standings. In OK, Britain's Roman Kamyab retained his lead after securing pole position, while Spain's Christian Costoya has a clear chance of winning the title. The situation remains wide open in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Senior, both for victory in Rødby and for first place in the overall standings.

The third and final round of the FIA European Championship 2025 for the KZ and KZ2 categories took place at the Mülsen circuit in Germany. It was an unusual season, marked by several key withdrawals that led to a worryingly thin entry list and many performances affected by external technical factors that were difficult to evaluate.

Three drivers were smiling broadly from the podium in Sarno at the end of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship. Pedro Hiltbrand, who had already won the opening race in Spain, is in an excellent position in the overall KZ standings ahead of the final competition in Germany in July. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov is in exactly the same situation, after his comprehensive domination in the Final at the foot of Vesuvius. The event will be the prologue to the 2nd Round of the FIA ​​European Championship, scheduled for next week from 1st to 4th May on the same track and will therefore be of significant importance for working on the set-ups in view of the FIA ​​meeting.
