Mexican racing driver José Antonio ‘Joss’ Garfias Martínez Lavín has hooked up with MP Motorsport for a full-season assault on the brand new Eurocup-3 series. The 17-year-old from San Luis Potosí joins young Danish driver Sebastian Øgaard in MP’s line-up for the maiden season of the category.

Quick young Frenchman Sami Meguetounif will remain with MP Motorsport for a second full term in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). By doubling with MP, the 18-year-old from Marseille aims to improve on the promise shown in his debut season in the category. With Meguetounif’s signing, MP has completed a three-car FRECA line-up that also includes Dilano van ’t Hoff and Victor Bernier.

With MP, the 18-year-old Frenchman is looking to make a strong impression in the highly competitive championship. In MP’s three-car FRECA line-up, Bernier will team up with Dilano van ’t Hoff and a third driver who will be announced shortly.

As the global motorsports calendar moves into the beginning of the European season, MP Motorsport have announced the addition of Emirati racing stars Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi to their academy programme for the upcoming season, with the team joining the new F1 all-female driver series introduced for 2023.

Jonny Edgar has signed with MP Motorsport for a renewed attempt at FIA Formula 3 glory. The 18-year-old from Workington in Cumbria aims to reap the benefit of experience in the Formula 1 feeder series by hooking up with the race-winning Dutch team.

Italian youngster Valerio Rinicella will stay with MP Motorsport for a second season in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. As a sophomore, the 15-year-old from Rome aims to improve on his sixth place in 2022’s final standings.

Brazilian rising star Pedro Clerot will make a switch to the Spanish Formula 4 Championship in 2023, having sewn up a deal with series front-runners MP Motorsport.

Colombian teenager Jerónimo Berrío Mardo has signed with MP Motorsport for a switch to the Spanish Formula 4 Championship in 2023. It will be the 16-year-old’s second season in European single-seaters, Berrío having shown great progress in his first year in Formula 4.

Spanish racer Mari Boya will step up with Dutch outfit MP Motorsport for his debut season in the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Brazilian youngster Caio Collet has signed to drive for MP Motorsport in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, the Alpine Academy member remaining with the Dutch team for his second season in the FIA Formula One-supporting category.

A seat will be offered to the winner of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy 2021 through a partnership agreement with MP Motorsport.

After practice, Friday’s qualifying took a challenging turn, the drivers were divided into two groups, with only the top 12 of each group eligible to take the start in both races. Franco and MP Motorsport did a fantastic job to set the fourth fastest lap overall.

Rik Koen, the Dutch youngster who made a name for himself in the Dutch Ford Fiesta Cup, will switch to single-seaters for the coming season after signing with MP Motorsport to compete in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship.

2020 has been a complex sporting year to manage because of the pandemic. However, Suleiman Zanfari put in some interesting performances in his first F4 season in Spain. He intends to continue his experience and obtain good results in this Championship next year with the renowned MP Motorsport team.

After a successful karting career, Kas Haverkort will switch to motor racing this year. The 16-year-old Team NL driver will compete for the Dutch MP Motorsport team in the Spanish F4 Championship. “I am really looking forward to it and will do my very best. A place in the top three is certainly my goal in that respect,” says an enthusiastic Haverkort.
