The supporting programme will once again feature the youngsters of the Mini 60 Series by Chrono Karting. The title sponsor is GTC Race - the sports car series has been a partner of the DKM since the beginning of the year and supports the championship with a GT4 test drive.

At Franciacorta from 13th to 16th September, several drivers equipped with KR chassis were not only preparing for the forthcoming FIA Karting World Championship. Their aim was also to fight for the championship titles in the Champions of the Future Euro Series. In OK, Joe Turney concluded with a magnificent victory, while Alex Powell took the crown. KR Global Motorsport Company even claimed an unprecedented quadruple in the overall standings with Kean Nakamura Berta taking 2nd place, giving Prema Racing the double ahead of Joe Turney and Enzo Tarnvanichkul. In the OK-Junior class, Thibaut Ramaekers battled steadily in the leading group to finish 3rd in the Euro Series, while Augustus Toniolo took 3rd place on the podium.

In the KZ World Championship, the KZ2 World Cup and the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup, the Sodi Racing Team chassis played all the leading roles in Germany, displaying exceptional competitiveness. At the start of the Final, Maksim Orlov was one of the favourites in the KZ2 World Cup, as was Daniel Bray in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup. Unfortunately, they were both eliminated at the start of the race. Genis Civico finished 9th in KZ2, while Riccardo Nalon finished 4th in KZ2 Masters. In the World KZ Championship, Francesco Celenta and Lorenzo Travisanutto made a superb comeback to finish 7th and 8th.

At Wackersdorf, Birel ART put in a very good performance in all three categories of the FIA World Karting meeting. Crowned European KZ Champion in July with Danilo Albanese, the KR Motorsport team has now won the supreme title of FIA Karting World Champion - KZ with Paolo Ippolito. KR chassis and IAME engines confirmed their very high potential in the gearbox categories. At Wackersdorf, Stan Pex (SP Motorsport) completed the podium in the premier class and Alex Powell finished 2nd in the KZ2 World Cup, while Kean Nakamura-Berta set the fastest lap of the race. KR Motorsport won the FIA Karting team title in KZ and Prema Racing was runner-up in KZ2 in its first year.

On Sunday morning, the Super Heats had already given a glimpse of the competition at Wackersdorf. But that was nothing compared to the afternoon's Finals, which produced a breathtaking spectacle with many unexpected twists and turns. At the end of a memorable FIA Karting competition, Italy's Paolo Ippolito was crowned KZ World Champion, Germany's Niels Tröger won the KZ2 World Cup and Italy's Davide Forè added the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters to his impressive list of honours.
