The global event held in Italy gave the IPK Group the opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency of its chassis and the expertise of the teams representing the Praga and Formula K brands. David Trefilov, who took pole position, dominated the KZ World Championship for much of the race but suffered an incident in the Final. Just off the podium, Marek Skřivan finished in the top five of the KZ2 World Cup, and Davide Fore finished runner-up in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup!
KZ: Trefilov leads for two days!
David Trefilov flew the flag for the Formula K SRP Factory Team in Franciacorta. On Friday, he took pole position in the World Championship with a lap time of 44.847, which remains the absolute record for the event. The German driver retained his 1st place after the Qualifying Heats, thanks to two victories, as well as after the Super Heats. He led the start of the Final, but unfortunately, a collision put an end to his hopes.
His team-mate Emilien Denner led the front group for three days, finishing one heat in 2nd place. Thanks to a solid Final, the Frenchman took 5th place with his IPK-TM Kart.

Reaction from engine tuner Maik Siebecke
"As was the case at the European Championship, and even at the Champions of the Future Shifter, luck was not really on our side at Franciacorta. But I want to focus on the performance we delivered in all three categories. Starting from pole position in the KZ World Championship is a big deal. The collaboration between the IPK group and SRP Racing only began at the start of the season, and I can say that we have built a solid foundation for the future. We have worked hard to get to this point, and we will continue our efforts to do even better in 2026."
KZ2: top five for Marek Skřivan
Marek Skřivan achieved an impressive clean sweep at the World Cup in Italy. Consistently in the top three in his six heats, with two brilliant victories, and in the Super Heat, the Czech fought hard in a turbulent field, finally placing his Praga-coloured kart in 5th position in the Final.
The team also congratulates Robert Kindervater and Tigran Bunatyan for their performance. Robert finished five heats in the top four and the Super Heat in 5th place. He was in the top ten in the Final before dropping back to 16th due to a penalty (spoiler). As for Tigran, he climbed from 35th to 19th place!

KZ2 Masters: Davide Fore on the second step of the podium
For Davide Fore, who took pole position and won two heats and the Super Heat B, everything was decided at the start of the Final against his main rival, who came out of the first corner in the lead. Although Fore and his IPK Praga / TM Kart set the fastest lap, the two drivers then drove at a similar pace, and no overtaking attempts were possible. Davide Fore and his team could be proud of their work and their runner-up title.
Starting 27th, Petr Shekochihin moved up to 15th place in the Final.
Comment from Cash Van Belle, Technical Manager at IPK
"The competitiveness of our equipment allowed our drivers to fight for the podium in all three categories. I am obviously disappointed for David Trefilov, but I congratulate Emilien Denner in KZ and Marek Skřivan in KZ2 for their top five finishes, as well as Davide Fore for his 2nd place in KZ2 Masters. Robert Kindervater also performed well in the very difficult KZ2 World Cup. Finally, the IPK group achieved excellent results in the FIA Karting team rankings: P2 in KZ2 Masters, P3 in KZ and KZ2.”
