Exprit Racing Team: Great deal of progress in Lonato

The results of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series just ended on the South Garda Karting track in Lonato (Italy) are definitely positive. In a race with 94 drivers in OKJ and 85 in OK, the drivers and the staff of the Exprit Racing Team managed to make the most of the experience gained in the first races of 2020 to aim at first positions.

In the OK category, both Charlie Wurz and Kajus Siksnelis with the Exprit Noesis R chassis powered by Vortex engines start off on the right foot since the qualifying practices. Wurz centres the eighth position of his group and, afterwards, manages to close each heat in the top ten, obtaining a sixth-place too. In prefinal Charlie further improves, crossing the finishing line in fifth position. The post-race checks, unfortunately, cancel this result with a penalty, but for the Austrian, the weekend ends successfully, with a seven-position comeback in final.

Kajus Siksnelis is the author of a good performance too, with the sixth place of his group in the qualifying practices. In the Heats, instead, his good performance is interrupted by a penalty, received in the heat he centres the best lap. In prefinal, Kajus gains another tenth place, followed by a difficult final, influenced by some contacts. More complicated weekend in OKJ for Oscar Wurz, who has to deal with a few withdrawals during the Qualifying Heats. This is a pity because he is the author of good recoveries in the heats, proving his potential and the reliability of his material.

Besides the official team, Exprit is the protagonist of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series thanks to drivers from the Forza Racing team, authors of a good race at the wheel of the Exprit Noesis R chassis. Especially, in OK, Dilano Van’T Hoff, after the fourth position in qualifying practices, a second and two third in the qualifying heats, wins his prefinal and remains in top positions of the decisive race, ending sixth. Maxwell Dodds, engaged in OKJ, centres the sixth position in final after recovering seven position.

After this important experience, the drivers of the Exprit Racing Team engaged in OKJ and OK will be back to the track in two weeks on the occasion of the appointment scheduled on the Circuito Internazionale La Conca in Maglie (Italy), stage of the third round of the WSK Super Master Series.
