The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team. Three drivers enjoyed a great first. Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn won the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Maksim Orlov dominated the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and Angelo Lombardo held off Davide Fore in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters.

Since the beginning of October, the Franciacorta paddock has echoed with the sound of 125cc gearbox engines from the various KZ categories. With 203 participants, the Champions of the Future Shifter kicked off the action on the initiative of promoter RGMMC. From 9th to 12th October, FIA Karting will take over with the World Championship, with no fewer than 253 drivers expected in the Italian region of Brescia. Clearly, as manufacturer LeCont is supplying the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters in these two prestigious events, world-class drivers and their teams have enjoyed racing with premium tyres offering optimum performance, perfectly suited to their powerful karts!

The new FIA Karting event, which brought together the OK-N and OK-N Junior World Cups, as well as the third and final competition of the Academy Trophy - Junior, lived up to all expectations. On the Cremona circuit, the last day ended in sunshine with some very exciting Finals. Italy's Manuel Scognamiglio made the difference in OK-N, and his compatriot Gioele Girardello made history by becoming the first winner of the OK-N Junior World Cup. The FIA Karting is inaugurating a new event from 25th to 28th September 2025 with the World Cup for the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories alongside the third and final competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior. The 211 participants started the Free Practice sessions with great ambitions, despite changing weather conditions throughout the sessions. The Cremona track was not completely dry when some of the drivers took to the track for Qualifying, forcing the teams to make difficult choices. In the Lombardy region of Italy, South African William Marshall in OK-N, Italian Gioele Girardello in OK-N Junior and Lithuanian Nojus Stasionis in Academy-Junior achieved the fastest times.

In Sweden, the fifth and final round of the 2025 Champions of the Future Euro Series was a triumph for KR chassis and the teams defending the colours of the Kart Republic Global Motorsport Company group. In OK, the entire top eight in the Final was made up of KR-IAME karts. Daniel Kelleher crossed the finish line as the winner ahead of Kenzo Craigie, who won the series ahead of five other KR chassis! In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin dominated the Final, and Devin Walz secured a one-two finish for the Italian brand. Baglin also lifted the championship trophy on the top of the podium.

In Germany, the suspense lasted until the very end for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship in KZ. Mattéo Spirgel's victory in the Final, combined with Pedro Hiltbrand's retirement, tipped the balance in favour of the French driver at the expense of the Spaniard. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov finished his Championship with a flawless performance: three Finals, three victories! His victory is undisputed. In the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior, thanks to his success in the Final at Mülsen, Finland's Oiva Vettenranta drew level on points with France's Maël Le Marchand, the winner at Valencia. Everything will be decided at the final competition in Italy in September.
