In Germany, the suspense lasted until the very end for the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship in KZ. Mattéo Spirgel's victory in the Final, combined with Pedro Hiltbrand's retirement, tipped the balance in favour of the French driver at the expense of the Spaniard. In KZ2, Maksim Orlov finished his Championship with a flawless performance: three Finals, three victories! His victory is undisputed. In the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior, thanks to his success in the Final at Mülsen, Finland's Oiva Vettenranta drew level on points with France's Maël Le Marchand, the winner at Valencia. Everything will be decided at the final competition in Italy in September.

For Dutchman Jayden Thien, competing in the Mondokart.com European Championship - KZ2, and Frenchman Maël Le Marchand in the Academy-Junior Trophy, it was also a first pole position. Drivers in the colours of the Modena Kart team have become regulars on the podiums of the biggest events since the start of 2025, in the WSK Promotion series as well as the ACI Karting Italian Championship. At the wheel of their OK-N Junior Parolin / TM Karts, the Italian team has just put together a sensational all-round performance at Sarno, with Albert Tamm taking victory, Gioele Girardello 3rd, and Nojus Stasionis 5th.
 

From 5th to 8th June, FIA Karting visited the Viterbo circuit, which had never before been used for the Championships. The sun, the heat and the grip were there, as was the performance of the KR-IAME packages, so the results followed. In the OK-Junior class, the VictoryLane team celebrated the victory of Frenchman Samuel Hugon, who was joined on the podium by Dean Hoogendoorn.

Christian Costoya’s European Championship lead was strengthened this weekend at the third round out of four at Viterbo in Italy, where the Spanish star qualified on pole and won all his races, with team-mate Beau Lowette matching his pace. Junior driver Bruno Blanco is also rapidly gaining in strength and took his first FIA Karting top ten.

A total of 32 Qualifying Heats created an intense spectacle on the Leopard circuit, which proved well suited to this high-level FIA Karting competition. The battles were non-stop in all three categories, while the thermometer topped 30 degrees in the Lazio sun. In the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship, the final day promises to be wide open in OK-Junior, with a number of clear podium contenders. In OK, Spaniard Christian Costoya confirmed his pole position from Friday with five wins out of five! Harrison Whitticombe remained unbeaten in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Senior, but nothing was easy for the Briton.

The first FIA Karting competition in the history of the Leopard circuit in Viterbo got off to a sunny start, with excellent initial feedback from the competitors. In Italy, Friday's Qualifying sessions proved particularly interesting to follow with 197 drivers entered, and extremely close gaps in the three categories represented.
