The season starts on January 21 - 25 with the opener of the WSK Super Master Series, which will be preceded by the Collective Test on January 16-17-18.
WSK Promotion is gearing up for the 2026 launch, marking the start of the 21st international karting season at the La Conca International Circuit in Muro Leccese. The first round of the WSK Super Master Series is scheduled for January 21–25, featuring the MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2 categories on the track. A key preview of the new season will be offered by the Official Collective Tests on January 16–18, also at La Conca, providing a first look at the competitive sporting and technical landscape.
The first major challenge of the season
Anticipation is already building for the year’s first international event and the opening of the WSK Super Master Series, now in its 17th edition. Since 2010, this series has remained the premier early-season challenge on the international karting calendar, producing a Hall of Fame filled with champions who are now protagonists at the highest levels of motorsport. Notable past winners include Max Verstappen (2012 and 2013), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (2019), and the 2026 F1 newcomer Arvid Lindblad, who found success in the 2020 WSK Super Master Series.
World-class drivers expected on the grid
The 2026 edition expects a high turnout of international drivers representing the major manufacturers and most qualified teams. They are ready to battle through the five rounds of the WSK Super Master Series, which, after the opener at La Conca, will continue with stops in: Sarno (8/2/2026), Viterbo (22/2/2026), Lonato (8/3/2026) and Franciacorta (22/3/2026). The 2025 defending champions are Niccolò Perico (MINI Gr.3), Josh Bergman (MINI U10), Dean Hoogendoorn (OKJ), Dries Van Langendonck (OK), Senna Van Walstijn (KZ2), and Luca Palacio (OK-NJ).
Over 3,000 entries from 73 nations in the WSK Series in 2025
Last season, the WSK Super Master Series reached significant milestones with record-breaking participation, seeing 405 drivers at Franciacorta and 401 at Lonato. In 2025, WSK Promotion concluded its full range of series with a total of 900 unique drivers and an amazing cumulative participation of 3,006 entries from 73 different nations.
The official WSK Partners for the 2026 Season
The 2026 season brings significant updates from the very first round at La Conca. These include the previously announced arrival of DFYNE as Main Partner—the renowned sportswear and lifestyle brand—and the start of a strategic multi-year partnership with MACAA Entreprenad AB to promote its dynamic beverage brand, Boxer Brewing. Additionally, a new collaboration has launched with ITAKAshop, a leading e-commerce platform and industry benchmark specializing in karting equipment, accessories, and spare parts.
Fuel and tyres for WSK Events
On the technical side, the official fuel for WSK races in 2026 will be Aspen+, an innovative and sustainable high-octane racing fuel specifically formulated to ensure peak performance in the most demanding kart engines.
The tyre partnerships have also been confirmed: for the WSK Super Master Series, LeCont will be used for the OK and KZ2 categories, while Vega will supply the OKJ, MINI Gr.3, MINI U10, and OK-NJ categories.
Promotion and Services: the WSK Promotion Hallmark
The 2026 season will once again be defined by the high-level promotion and comprehensive services that have distinguished WSK Promotion events for over 20 years.
