The first ever Ultimate Club Racer event has come to an end at South Australia’s The Bend Motorsport Park with winners coming from no less than five Australian states in a dramatic final day that crowned Australia’s best club karters. Two-day test on kart for the FDA drivers who, within the cooperation with the Tony Kart Racing Team, carried out intense race sessions on the track together with our official drivers.

OW Karting proved last weekend on a wet circuit of Spa-Francorchamps that they are a top team. The riders of Ricardo Oude Weernink’s squad managed to finish on the podium in three different classes. Jesse Smeets won the day’s classification in the IAME X30 Senior class, Jordi Verhagen finished third in the Open Shifter class and Mitchell van Dijk finished second in the Mini Parilla class. The Praga chassis was bullet-proof in all weather conditions.

Emerging New Zealand karting star, Matthew Payne has upstaged some of the world’s finest exponents of kart racing on the opening days of the 2019 Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars on Queensland’s Gold Coast - the first official off track event of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 Supercars event next weekend.

The Race of Stars karting event has been locked in to be held on Queensland’s Gold Coast for a seventh consecutive year. The prestigious event will once again be contested at the Xtreme Karting Facility on Queensland’s glitter strip.

The day after the Formula 1 GP in Sochi, Russia, the F1 driver spent a whole day at the South Garda Karting in Lonato with the Tony Kart Racing Team, testing the Tony Kart OK and KZ Racer 401R chassis.
