Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic is the 2025 GB3 Champion, after yet another sensational performance at Donington Park. The Australian claimed his eighth win of the year in the first race of the day, overcoming a 10-second jump start penalty to put one hand on the title. Then, needing to finish ahead of his title rivals in the final race of the weekend, his task was made simple as the only other drivers in contention retired from the contest, and he finished seventh. 

Rocco Coronel has secured his first championship title in motor racing! Finishing fourth in the first race of the final weekend of the British Ginetta Junior Championship at Donington Park was enough for the 14-year-old driver from Eemnes to secure the title. ‘My first title in motor racing, a very special feeling. Thanks to the team and to everyone who made this possible,’ said Coronel, who won eleven of the 22 races he competed in and achieved a total of 19 podium places, making him the clear champion. Coronel described his first season in motor racing, which he crowned with the title, as ‘better than expected’. Coronel, competing as a Red Bull Junior for the R Racing team, is the first non-British driver and also the first Dutchman to become champion in the British Ginetta Junior Championship, which has been in existence since 2005. Rocco Coronel also won the rookie title.

PREMA Racing claimed a podium finish in tricky conditions as the F1 Academy series got its weekend completed at Marina Bay in Singapore. Mercedes-AMG F1 Team junior Doriane Pin ended up second in Race 1 to retain her championship lead heading into the Las Vegas finale.

Cooper Shipman dominated to capture his ninth consecutive victory in Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) competition at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) on Sunday afternoon. The victory was enough to lock in his status as the 2025 F4 U.S. Champion and secure the scholarship to compete in the Formula Regional Americas Championship in 2026. PREMA Racing carried its winning form forward in Barcelona, as the Spanish Grand Prix track was home to the penultimate round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. With consistently competitive runs across the board, the team made positive steps ahead of the series finale at Misano, even though only two races were completed due to heavy rain and an early red flag in Race 3.

It was a triumphant Saturday for the Trident team in the Formula Regional European by Alpine. At Montmeló, the circuit located in the outskirts of Barcelona, the team managed by Luca Zerbini scored a resounding victory in the first race of the weekend thanks to Matteo De Palo. Fastest in his group in Qualifying 1, the Roman driver started from the front row alongside poleman Slater, the championship leader and his only direct rival in the title chase. When the lights went out, De Palo made a sprint-like move alongside Slater along the long straight leading to the first braking point.

The current leader of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine delivered a flawless performance on Spanish soil, arriving with just a three-point advantage over closest rival Matteo De Palo (Trident Motorsport). The Italian driver was the fastest in Group B, after also topping the timesheets in both of Friday’s collective tests. As a result, the front row will see the two main title contenders line up side by side in what promises to be a thrilling and action-packed race.
