The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine returns to action this weekend at Zandvoort for Round 3 of the 2025 season. A regular fixture on the Formula 1 calendar, the Dutch venue is known for its flowing layout and banked corners nestled in the dunes, stretching 4.259 km through the North Sea coast. The event is part of the prestigious DTM race weekend, once again offering a spectacular platform with thousands of fans expected in attendance.

The last race of the weekend was nothing short of spectacular, wrapping up the second round of the Italian F.4 Championship in style after a weekend packed with drama from the very start. After qualifying was disrupted by intermittent rain and the three qualifying races were won by Kean Nakamura-Berta (Race 1 and 2) and Sebastian Wheldon (Race 3), the final race delivered a twist: a clash between the top two contenders paved the way for Gabriel Gomez to take the win.

Sebastian Wheldon, the American driver racing for Prema Racing, claimed victory in Race 3, which featured drivers from Groups A and C. This marked the final contest of the group stage before the Vallelunga Final race, where the top 36 drivers of the weekend will compete.

Gabriele Minì handed himself and PREMA Racing the first podium of the year in FIA Formula 2 at Monte Carlo, as the Sprint Race was completed at the famous street venue today.

Race 2 at Vallelunga proved to be one of the most thrilling contests of the early season. Despite the championship still being in its early stage, it’s already delivering top-tier excitement. Kean Nakamura-Berta continued his perfect streak, clinching his fifth win after having took part in as many races. This latest triumph was particularly spectacular, as he secured P1 with a superb start that allowed him to exit Turn 1 in the lead. From there, he defended fiercely against Sebastian Wheldon’s relentless attacks.

KMR Sport’s Alex O’Grady secured his first GB4 Championship race win at Oulton Park, in one of the most dramatic races held in the series history on Saturday.

Kean Nakamura-Berta, the Anglo-Japanese driver for Prema Racing, didn’t put a foot wrong. This morning he secured his fourth win from four starts, taking the opening race of the second round at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga. Increasing his lead in the standings, Nakamura-Berta now sits at 100 Championship points.

FIA Formula 3 returns to continue its spring tripleheader this weekend, and it will be swinging from Imola to Monte Carlo before pivoting towards Barcelona. Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic and VRD Racing’s Hugo Schwarze were the winners on Sunday at Zandvoort, while Australian drivers have taken over at the top of the championship standings. Ninovic claimed his first GB3 victory in race two this morning, while Schwarze took his own maiden win after a chaotic final contest. Australian trio Patrick Heuzenroeder, Ninovic and Noah Lisle fill the top-three in the standings heading to Spa-Francorchamps in a fortnight’s time. 

VRD Racing's Hugo Schwarze steered clear of chaos in the final GB3 Championship race at Zandvoort, passing Elite Motorsport's Will Macintyre early on and then surviving two safety car restarts to claim his first single-seater victory.

Patrick Heuzenroeder claimed a first GB3 Championship victory both for himself and the Xcel Motorsport team in the first race of the weekend at Zandvoort. The Australian rebuffed a challenge off the line from Hitech TGR's Deagen Fairclough, and then put himself out of DRS reach across the opening couple of laps.

Hitech TGR's Deagen Fairclough was fastest for the second successive session on Friday afternoon, but after topping session two by three thousandths of a second, it was even closer in the final practice, as the Brit led Patrick Heuzenroeder by 0.002s this time around.
