At the start, confusion caused by several jump starts, including one by Germany’s Maxim Rehm (US Racing), reshuffled the race's early stages. Rehm made a quick getaway and led the opening laps but was later overtaken by Prema Racing drivers Sebastian Wheldon and Salim Hanna before receiving a 10-second penalty for the irregular start.

The F4 Spanish Championship is set to return to action this weekend at Circuito de Navarra. Once again, a full grid of talented young drivers will battle it out as the championship heats up. Located near Los Arcos, Circuito de Navarra is a technical 3.9-kilometer track featuring 15 corners that challenge both driver skill and car setup. With a mix of high-speed straights and tight, technical sectors, the track offers several prime overtaking spots, particularly into Turn 1 and the heavy braking zone at Turn 13. Recently, the circuit has undergone updates to its facilities and track surface, ensuring even more thrilling racing action for 2025.

At the conclusion of the opening day of the ACI Racing Weekend in Misano, host of the inaugural round of the 2025 Italian F.4 Championship, the 41 drivers entered in the series faced off in the qualifying challenge, taking to the track in two groups. The results from both sessions will set the grid for three of the four races scheduled over the weekend. The final race, set for Sunday evening, will feature only the top 36 drivers, selected based on points and placements earned in the first three races.

Rafael Camara, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Dino Beganovic, and before them Grégoire Saucy, Formula Regional builds champions. A quick look at the series’ roll of honour reveals a growing legacy of excellence, with many former drivers now competing in Formula 1, including Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, and Gabriel Bortoleto. Co-organised by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing since 2021, the championship now enters its fifth season, kicking off this weekend at Misano, an all-new venue for the series, with a 26-car grid representing ten teams.
 

After an exciting season opener at Motorland Aragón, the F4 Spanish Championship is set to return to action this weekend at Circuito de Navarra. Once again, a full grid of talented young drivers will battle it out as the championship heats up.

Valerio Rinicella will make his debut with CL Motorsport at the opening round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, set to take place next week at the Misano World Circuit. This will mark CL Motorsport’s first-ever race appearance, kicking off a foundational year in 2025 for the Italian outfit as they refine and strengthen their racing operations.

Hillspeed’s Daniel Guinchard returned to the top of the GB4 Championship standings after his first series victory in the final race of the Silverstone weekend, becoming the fifth different winner from the six races held so far this year. Before that, Elite’s Isaac Phelps earned his second win of the year in race two, fending off race one winner Alex Kattoulas on the run to the line, with Ary Bansal securing the second Elite podium clean sweep of the season.

Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater maintained his early GB3 Championship lead with another stunning victory on Sunday at Silverstone. From pole position, the British driver led every lap of the second contest, and was on course to win by over 10 seconds, only for a late safety car to wipe out his advantage. Meanwhile, series returnee Will Macintyre claimed his first win of the year for Elite Motorsport in the reverse grid final race. Slater holds a 15-point lead at the top of the standings over JHR’s Noah Lisle, with Nikita Johnson third for Hitech after a strong weekend of his own. 

Elite Motorsport’s Alex Kattoulas enjoyed an ideal Saturday at Silverstone, as the Japanese-Greek contender claimed both pole positons on offer in qualifying, took a dominant race one win and secured the GB4 Championship lead in the process.

Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater was the driver to beat as the GB3 Championship’s new era began in style at Silverstone on Saturday. 

The final afternoon session at Circuit Paul Ricard brought two productive days of pre-season collective testing to a close for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Under sunny skies, Hiyu Yamakoshi (Van Amersfoort Racing) topped the timesheets with a best lap of 1:57.470, confirming the Japanese driver’s strong form ahead of the championship’s fifth season.

Thai racer Enzo Tarnvanichkul will join VRD Racing for five GB3 events across the 2025 season. The 16-year-old is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team, and will compete in all of the UK rounds of this year’s GB3 Championship, as well as the Monza season finale in October.
