The Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, will write another chapter in its illustrious history later this week (2-3 May) as the UK’s premier single-seater series celebrates its 300th race at the Home of British Motor Racing, Silverstone.

Misano Adriatico (RN) - Everything is set for the start of a new and spectacular season of the Italian F.4 Championship. The series, promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, promises to keep the excitement level high once again in 2025, with record numbers already in its first round.

Valerio Rinicella will make his debut with CL Motorsport at the opening round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, set to take place next week at the Misano World Circuit. This will mark CL Motorsport’s first-ever race appearance, kicking off a foundational year in 2025 for the Italian outfit as they refine and strengthen their racing operations.

Hillspeed’s Daniel Guinchard returned to the top of the GB4 Championship standings after his first series victory in the final race of the Silverstone weekend, becoming the fifth different winner from the six races held so far this year. Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater maintained his early GB3 Championship lead with another stunning victory on Sunday at Silverstone. From pole position, the British driver led every lap of the second contest, and was on course to win by over 10 seconds, only for a late safety car to wipe out his advantage. Meanwhile, series returnee Will Macintyre claimed his first win of the year for Elite Motorsport in the reverse grid final race. Slater holds a 15-point lead at the top of the standings over JHR’s Noah Lisle, with Nikita Johnson third for Hitech after a strong weekend of his own. 

Elite Motorsport’s Alex Kattoulas enjoyed an ideal Saturday at Silverstone, as the Japanese-Greek contender claimed both pole positons on offer in qualifying, took a dominant race one win and secured the GB4 Championship lead in the process.

Hillspeed’s Freddie Slater was the driver to beat as the GB3 Championship’s new era began in style at Silverstone on Saturday. 

The final afternoon session at Circuit Paul Ricard brought two productive days of pre-season collective testing to a close for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Under sunny skies, Hiyu Yamakoshi (Van Amersfoort Racing) topped the timesheets with a best lap of 1:57.470, confirming the Japanese driver’s strong form ahead of the championship’s fifth season.

Thai racer Enzo Tarnvanichkul will join VRD Racing for five GB3 events across the 2025 season. The 16-year-old is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team, and will compete in all of the UK rounds of this year’s GB3 Championship, as well as the Monza season finale in October.

The youngest driver on the grid made his first-ever start from pole position after a perfectly controlled Qualifying session in difficult rainy conditions. For Andy, the Easter Cup at Nogaro also included a first podium finish, this time on a dry track. It's clear that in 2025, we'll have to watch out for the hopeful chosen by Mercedes-AMG F1 to be part of its development programme for young drivers.

Two months after the official announcement of her debut in the FIA-certified French Formula 4 Championship, Sofia Zanfari has just celebrated her very first podium finish. The 18-year-old Moroccan champion has proved her ability to adapt and her budding talent, already spotted during her rise through the karting ranks. The first official outing of the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine came to a close this afternoon at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with the fourth and final session of the two-day pre-season collective test.
