The much-loved Åsum Ring, 1221m long, will be the third of four European competitions this year on a course favourable to spectacular clashes at the Swedish Kart Grand Prix. The very positive memory of the 2018 FIA ​​Karting World Championship - OK & Junior held in Kristianstad augurs well for a high-quality competition in the heart of Skåne, close to Denmark.

Before the conclusion at Le Mans (FRA) at the end of July, the 2019 FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior will head to Kristianstad (SWE) from 31st May to 2nd June for a decisive Competition. The first two European meetings have not yet established a precise hierarchy between the participants. For this third round, the field promises to be full with nearly 190 Drivers entered.

Despite the surprises reserved by bad weather on the Genk track, the Vortex engines support the drivers very well in the fight for the victory and conquer three podiums.

After France and the Angerville circuit, the drivers registered for the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK travelled to Genk, Belgium, for the second of four meetings in the 2019 season. Suleiman Zanfari continued his return to kart racing at the second round of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - Junior at the Genk circuit from 16th to 19th May 2019. He was driving a Kosmic / Iame from the VDK Racing team for the occasion, facing over 75 experienced opponents. Unspared by the weather conditions in Timed Practice which was particularly difficult to manage, the young Moroccan driver then began an outstanding of 20 places and finished inside the top 10 in a superb 9th position.

Alex Irlando returns home from the second round of the FIA Karting OK European Championship in Genk with 20 points and the 8th position in the championship. Due to the unpredictable weather in Belgium, the second round of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship was the most difficult of the season so far. Small showers often caused unpredictable variations in the grip of the Genk circuit. Delayed for this reason in Qualifying, Gabriele Minì admirably recovered from 43rd to 6th place finish with the fastest lap, therefore preserving all his chances in the OK rankings.

On Friday 17th May, the second competition of the FIA ​​Karting European Championship - OK & Junior started on the Genk circuit (BEL) in weather conditions that were particularly difficult to manage. After a seven month absence, at the beginning of May Suleiman Zanfari returned to karting during the Swedish Kart League at Kristianstad in OK-Junior within the Ward Racing team.
