The CRG Racing Team is pleased to announce the collaboration agreement for the 2019 season with the young French driver Théophile Naël, that will be committed in the OK Junior category in a full program including all the CIK-FIA races (European and World Championships), the WSK events and most prestigious trophies, starting from Lonato’s Winter Cup.

The third and final Competition of the 2018 FIA Karting European Championship - Superkart will take place as in previous years on the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans from 26th to 28th October. The entry promises to be higher in France than in the two previous rounds with 29 entries, because of a healthy French delegation - eight Drivers - ahead of that of the British who are also well represented with seven Drivers.

A federally accredited coach (DE JEPS), Didier André has participated in the training and development of several drivers since he founded his DADD (Didier André Driver Development) organisation. At the end of September, he was in Sweden alongside Lorenzo Travisanutto, who reached his ultimate goal by becoming FIA Karting World Champion in OK on the Kristianstad circuit. A title that Didier André experienced with great emotion, more than 25 years after himself coming very close to the feat.

The dream team made by Paolo De Conto, Pedro Hiltbrand, Callum Bradshaw and Andrea Rosso secured the pole position and the third place in the race that named the winner of the FIA Karting Endurance Championship 2018.

Since last year, the CIK-FIA has made a specific classification for Drivers up to the age of 16, participating in the FIA ​​Karting World Championship and the FIA ​​Karting European Championship for the first time in the OK category, in order to highlight the emergence of young talents at the highest level of racing.

Sodikart is again part of the history of endurance karting after winning the 33rd edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans. It was the first time that an factory team from a major manufacturer has won the FIA ​​Karting Endurance Championship since the first edition in 2016. The success of the French brand was completed by the presence of the JFJ Performance team and its Sodi chassis on the second step of the podium.

In its third year, the FIA ​​Karting Endurance Champion title was won by a factory team, that of the French manufacturer Sodikart, while the official CRG SpA team was once again on the podium. At Le Mans, the 33rd edition of the 24 Hours Karting also confirmed the internationalisation of this Competition at the same time as it affirmed the potential and the attraction of OK engines.

After several Free Practice sessions, the 33rd edition of the 24 Hours Karting got under way on Friday afternoon with four Qualifying sessions. The Italian team No. 2 CRG SpA progressively increased their dominance to take a superb pole position while their main opponent had to throw in the towel. In GP2, an X30 engine enabled the No. 41 RSD Karting to set the fastest time.

CIK-FIA President Felipe Massa wanted to be in attendance in Sweden for the last big sporting event of the 2018 season, the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - OK and Junior held in Kristianstad from 20th to 23rd September. With his great appreciation of competition, he enjoyed the extremely high standard of racing and was pleased with the increase in the number of participants.

Sunday, 23rd September, 2018, Kristianstad, Sweden: At just 13 years old, Suleiman Zanfari entered the history of motorsport as the first African driver to finish in the top 10 of a World Junior Karting Championship. It was a great feat for the top Moroccan hopeful in a competition with 113 participants from 26 countries from five continents.

Three weeks after the KZ CIK-FIA World Championship in Genk, Alex Irlando returns to race his favourite race: the 24 Heures Karting in Le Mans.

The CIK-FIA 24 Hours Endurance race will take place in Le Mans on September 29th-30th. CRG will take part in the competition with a team made by Paolo De Conto, Pedro Hiltbrand, Callum Bradshaw and Andrea Rosso. The start on Saturday  September 29th  at 15:00.

On the occasion of the FIA Karting World Championship, the OTK Kart Group’s brand gains the world title with Victor Bernier (VDK Racing). Great recovery in OK class for the world champion 2015, Karol Basz.

On the Swedish circuit of Kristianstad Noah Milell honors the Tony Kart Racing Team’s colors gaining the fifth position in the final.

An emblematic driver in the Parolin Racing Team, Gabriele Mini' perfectly fulfilled his mission by bringing his Parolin chassis to the highest international level. The winner of OK-Junior in the WSK Super Master Series, 2nd in the European Championship and vice-World Champion, the young Italian proved the exceptional level of performance of Parolin by becoming the most consistent driver of the season in the top rankings.

Kart Republic’s Leonardo Marseglia concluded the CIK-FIA World Championship in the top 20 out of 102 drivers.

Gabriel Bortoleto secured the third place at the OK-Junior World Championship in Sweden. Great performances were also put in by Bradshaw and Galli in OK.  Hiltbrand completed a great comeback. Rosso retired due to the failure of the drive chain.

Birel ART has finished the 2018 FIA Karting season in style. At the end of an event perfectly mastered by the Racing Team of the Italian brand, Luigi Coluccio climbed on to the third step of the podium of the OK World Championship organised at Kristianstad (Sweden). Despite changeable weather during the weekend, especially during Qualifying, the Birel ART equipment proved particularly competitive regardless of the grip conditions. This sporting, technical and logistic dynamism heralds a radiant future for the whole Birel ART group.

The OK 2018 Karting World Championship in Kristianstad was clearly one of the big goals of the season for the Rosberg Racing team. With the technical partnership and know-how of Petronas and Kart Republic, Lorenzo Travisanutto became the new FIA Karting World Champion after a weekend he totally dominated: pole position with the absolute best lap of the meeting, leader at the end of the qualifying heats and victory in the final after a crazy race, where the Italian took the best two laps of the finish!

Two fine Champions were crowned at Kristianstad after three days of intense clashes on the Åsum Ring as part of the Kart Grand Prix of Sweden. On Sunday, in bright sunshine, the last Qualifying Heats revealed the list of 34 Finalists in the two categories in the running, before the Finals delivered their verdict in front of a large audience. Victor Bernier (FRA) convincingly won the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - Junior, while Lorenzo Travisanutto (ITA) got the better of Hannes Janker (DEU) two laps from the finish of the FIA ​​Karting World Championship - OK.
