Facing a new circuit in a major international competition is always a dreaded moment for factories, teams, and drivers. From 3rd to 6th May, the KR brand set out to discover the Steel Ring circuit in Třinec, located in the Czech Republic, to participate in the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series.

On the occasion of its second event, the FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior will head east to the Czech Republic for its second round and its first taste of the Třinec International Steel Ring. The FIA Karting Academy Trophy will also make its debut on this new circuit from May 19-21.

The weekend that just ended on the Třinec track in the Czech Republic was a very positive one: Gabriel Gomez dominated the scene in the OK category of the 2nd Round of the Champions of the Future, finishing the Final in P2.

With more than a quarter of the field, Birel ART was the best represented chassis brand in Spain for the opening of the FIA Karting European Championships - KZ & KZ2. Although the standard of competition in these gearbox categories is constantly increasing, Birel ART's expertise enables the red chassis to perform at the front. In KZ, Matteo Vigano was back on the second step of the podium in the colours of the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team, while Riccardo Longhi regained 10 places to finish 6th in the Final.

The Tony Kart Racer 401 RR sets the fastest time in the qualifyings of the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship 2023 reserved for KZ and KZ2 categories, however the weekend does not end as expected.

After the two victories for the KR direct-drive chassis at the opening of the European Championships in OK and OK-Junior, it is now the turn of the "Shifter" model to win a major FIA Karting competition. On the difficult Zuera circuit, Jamaican Alex Powell dominated the KZ2 class Final from 5th position. Similarly, the competitiveness of the KR Motorsport team was clear in KZ, but events did not go in favour of Italian Paolo Ippolito, the reigning European Champion.

CRG colors experienced a top weekend during the 1^st Round of the FIA ​​European Championship – KZ & KZ2 that took place in Zuera, Spain, from 13^th to 16^th April. In the top KZ class, Jeremy Iglesias and his CRG Road Rebel dominated the Final from the 1^st to the last lap, also setting the fastest lap of the race, ahead of Viganò and Van Walstijn on the finish line.
